TEDxKL - Afzal Abdul Rahim - Boardband by Numbers

Afzal Abdul Rahim, a Malaysian aged 31, was appointed as Director & Chief Executive Officer of TIME dotCom Berhad on 7 October 2008. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Electronics, specicalising in Acoustic Wave Theory from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
He served as the Chief Executive Officer of The AIMS Asia Group and Global Transit International from April 2003 to October 2008.
He is also a chairman of Communications and Multimedia Licensee Associate and founded the Malaysia Internet Exchange (MyIX) in 2006.
In this 2010 TEDxKL, he gave a very interesting talk about the state of Broadband in Malaysia.
