Fun fact, in 2010 that area u went over the bridge and Tallahatchie river flooded real bad. They were launching boats at that red light u stopped at at the end of bridge. Park along the river area
Magee is nice too!!!! I enjoyed a bit of Northern Mississippi... My mother grew up in Louisville,MS and if y'all haven't been to Louisville, y'all need to go there!!! Starkville is cool too, the home of Mississippi State University, home of the Bull Dogs!!! Also I suggest going to Corinth.. Corinth was a nice town and I enjoyed my time there and especially loved a good old fashioned Slug Burger!!!!
My two favorite Content creator's checking out the State I'd like to Move too. I want to move to Laurel affordable housing, nice people, huge art community, kind people. Everyone tells me laurel is just pig with lipstick, that it's actually drug dealers on every corner, trap houses, dilapidated and trash everywhere. It's undergoing a slow process to bring the buildings and such back. Which is cool with me. I want to be part of a community. And I actually fell in love with Laurel about 17 years ago, I think Erin and Ben Napier ate awesome rehabbimg homes and investing I. The town. I wanted to move there over a decade before " Hometown " was ever a show. Everywhere tells me Laurels a Dump move to Hattiesburg. Hattiesburg is beautiful, but Laurel, the town, the century old homes that need some love, the folks that have stuck with that town through everything, That's what draws me to Laurel. It's like 1964 Ford Unibody truck left out in the weather for ages. Underneath the cobwebs, dust, and spiderweb. Is an vintage classic piece of history that just needs some one to give it a little love polish that chrome. And give it a good polish. If you can see the potential, and are willing to put in the work, a amazing thing can look brand new and brought back to life. That's Laurel. Maybe one day you guys will drive thru and film it. I'm super happy that you're feeling better José, your wife's going to make a great real-estate agent all your travels gives her info to share with buyers other agents may not know.
We did a video in Laurel. Maybe even two. I would not describe that town as friendly. I would describe it as a pig with lipstick.. a gang member pig.. holding a knife. I just want to be honest, southern Mississippi is horrible. That states murder rate is the highest in the whole country. Insane.
There's lots of Hispanics in that area for work. There's lots of manufacturing work in that area, like Ashley furniture, Albany industries, Walmart distribution center, and that town has gotten better since the Toyota plant went to Blue Springs also they made US 78, interstate 22. And, yes Tupelo sucks, and I hate it with a passion 🤢
