Melodic death metal... it really got something! Those Swedes pioneered one of the greatest sub genres of metal.. In Flames.. Dark Tranquility, Arch Enemy and Amon Amarth just to name a few.
... And a another band with a fantastic female singer: Unleash the Archers (from Vancouver, BC) with pretty much every song they have ever produced (especially "Awakening", "Abyss", "Apex", "Nothwest Passage", "Tonight We Ride", "Faster Than Light", "Dreamcrusher", "Time Stands Still",... to name a few).
@@marbenthesaffa That's great! I like your taste ;D Let me just remind you once again of "Burning Witches - Hexenhammer". I'd be curious whether you liked them, too! Have a nice day and rock on! Oh, and then there is Wintersun (just in case you wouldn't know them...)
@@t.winterbahn1641 We clearly have very similar taste! So, I went and played Burning Witches quick.. and damnnnn.. had to stop 20 seconds in because I NEED to do a reaction to them! Just that 20 second got me so pumped!!! Thanks for that! 🤘🤘🤘🙏 Will definitely check out Wintersun as well😁🤘
@@marbenthesaffa :D Cool. I'm looking forward to your reactions to these... For Wintersun I suggest the songs "Sons of Winter and Stars", "Time", and "Land of Snow and Sorrow" (all from the Sonic Pump Studious playthrough). Some other suggestions, from "my catalogue" of the things I personally like (just in case, you might like one or two of these, too): Eleine - "Ava of Death" Epica - "Consign to Oblivion", and "Kingdom of Heaven Part 3" Null Positiv - "Wo Rauch ist, ist auch Feuer" and "Turm der Angst" (Null Positiv is a German band and do their music in German. Even if you would not understand the language, you might probably like their music and the emotions they carry) Insomnium - "While we sleep" and "Lose to Night" (both from the Shadows of the Dying Sun album) Myrath - "Believer" (Tunesian metal) Delain - "Danse Macabre", "The Gathering" (Live at Monsters of Rock festival, featuring Marco Hietala from Nightwish), and "Scandal" Amaranthe - "Viral", "GG6", "Booom!!!1!" Ayreon - "The day that the world breaks down" Alien Weaponry - "Kai Tangata" (New Zealand Maori Thrash Metal) and "Ru Ana Te Whenua" Devin Townsend "Kingdom" and "Deadhead" (Live at Royal Albert Hall) Dream Theater - "The Count of Tuscany", "The Dance of Eternity", "Pull Me Under", and "The Ministry of Lost Souls" Accept - "Princess of the Dawn" Iced Earth - "Melancholy" Ad Infinitum - "Marching on Versailles" Liliac - (pretty much anything from them) Queensrÿche - "Take Hold of the Flame", "Eyes of a Stranger" (There is a video out there showing Britney Slayes from Unleash the Archers doing a cover of Queensrÿche's "Queen of the Reich" in a karaoke bar after having played a concert...) Maybe, maybe... you might like a few of these other bands/songs/albums, etc., too, just judging from where our tastes so far have overlapped. I tried to present a broader spectrum here, so it could also possibly be that you might not like everything. Could also be that you already know quite a few or more of these bands and their songs. Alright, that's it for now. Have a good night and greetings from Germany.
Mind melting again...lol.... - commenting for support - I wonder have you heard of 'Unleash The archers' - again if not this is an absolute incredible video & track, the female leads voice is earth shattering - UNLEASH THE ARCHERS - Tonight We Ride (Official Video) | Napalm Records - enjoy - Much Love, Peace & Respect. Stay Safe.
Already wondered why you didn't react to AE so far as they have already released 3 other videos from the forthcoming new album and they seemed to fit your taste when I look to your other reactions... 😉
Hey Marben, you've got to check out one of their other new songs, Hand Shake With Hell. Alissa does a fair amount of clean singing on that track and she sounds gorgeous.
That was actually what I was waiting for since her TheAgonist days... never was too much into that growling thing (OK, because of Jinjer that changed the last years ;) ... but, like Jinjer, still prefer the mixture of both). BTW, also something you could react to,... both... Jinjer & TheAgonist. :)
Handshake With Hell , you gotta hear their other new single 😁
I will most definitely do that!! 🤘🤘💪🙏
You heard them in your youth. I started in my late 50’s 😜😂😎😈
same for me... it's never to late :)

100%🤘🤘🤘💪🙏
I think not many believed that Arch Enemy can go on like before after Angela. But Alissa is doing an amazing job.
I remember listening to them before Alissa but she really is amazing as well!🤘🙏💪😁

Absolutely! Alissa is next level!! 🙏🤘
I actually know Unleash the Archers very well! Awakening probably my favorite track by them! So so good!!!🤘🤘🙏
