Even to this day, LeBron at 38, in his 20th season, is still expected to be great every minute he's on the floor. He's not allowed to have defensive lapses, bad games, etc. People expect him to ball out & winning championships every year while simultaneously saying he's overrated & won't win. So he fails to them either way.
As a pacers fan having to relive this makes me sad. We should’ve beat the the Cavs that series but.. it’s all good it was 4yrs ago I just know I’ll never forget how great Dipo was for us.
lebron willed a lot of unexpected teams to the finals whether it’s 2007 cavs or when kyrie left, and the times he played without love and kyrie(played game1) against gsw and still won 2 games with mozgov as his 2nd best player and jr smith as 3rd, just never been seen that greatness

Nobody underestimated. 2017, Kyrie and K Love had some bad games. 2018 team just straight up wasn’t good. Before 2018 it was next to impossible to beat LeBron 4 times before he could beat you.
That series was spectacular and one off the best first round matchups ever. But don't forget that the rest off the Cavs sucked and they still won the series. The second leading scorer on their roster was Kevin Love with 11.4 points on 33 % FG. The second leader in assists was George Hill with 2.0 assists per game. LeBron was great and at his best. The rest were horrible. Oh and Love was the only one who averaged more then 10 points per game. Indiana had 7 players with double digit points per game.

Victor forgets that the pacers actually got a big break either the play before the goal tend or a few plays before where the ball was out on Indy but they gave back to them anyways which ultimately led to the block
It was definitely goal tending, however, the play before that, Thaddeus Young was the last to touch the ball out of bounds & they gave it to Indiana, so you can say it was justifiably not called.

Damn that huge scar on his right knee tells a sad story. He was a monster in Indy. I remember people comparing him to prime D Wade and that was a pretty good comparison back then. Sadly the injuries took him from us.
They won't validate it because he didn't win a chip but that 2018 postseason run by Bron is the best I've witnessed live. And I've seen a lot of ball being 42
That series was legendary for Bron and Oladipo but Bron in those playoffs was the scariest thing iv seen in basketball the way he went 7 games putting up numbers like that then turning around and clean sweeping the raptors like he juss had 2 weeks rest was insane
I remember watching that replay so many times to see if it was really a block and even in slow mo I couldn't tell because of the angle the cameras caught it in. Either way that was a great sequence to watch and LeBron hit that 3 which would've won them the game either way. Great series

S/o to that 2017-18 Pacers team because even with LeBron putting up videogame numbers, the Cavs still only defeted them *after 7 games...* by just _four points. If that Pacers team faced literally any other team bar the Celtics, with the way they played that Cavs series, I could see them making the ECF.
I hear you but I completly disagree, that cavs team was quite awful because of all the trades they made in the offseason then mid season.. they never quite became a team, lebron just took over and had to take nights off and pick his moments in order to win these series. if you watch back you'll see lebron being very lazy in several games.. Vic also kinda explains that lebron picked his moments in this interview
2012 Miami heat LeBron James was a different animal he could literally do everything at an insanely high clip that was probably his most athletic prime but 2018 LeBron James was absolutely incredible
2018 Bron looked like a gotdamn nightmare in the playoffs. Nobody wanted that problem… except Golden State simply because they had more firepower. But if KD wasn’t there, I don’t think even they beat Bron that year.
I can’t help but get annoyed by KD for joining a already really good warriors team and making them unbeatable at that time. Lebron run was so legendary and he was doing what KD should’ve been trying to do and has never done. That run should’ve been capped off with a ring and I believe he would’ve won had he not gone to the warriors.
It’s just them two. By the time it’s all said and done, they will be 1A and 1B all time. It’ll come down to complete personal preference on what type of player you prefer.

As a pacers fan this guy was the man
I feel y’all would’ve got at least 2 rings if it wasn’t for bron
@@benmack4525 yeah we would’ve had one in the pg era for sure only team stopping us was miami. And both teams were pretty even but we had one superstar and they had 3. Guys like G hill Roy Hibbert and d west were amazing for us.

No one ever has gone toe to toe with leking James but you had a great series victor
Don't look now but Jimmy buckets had 2 30 (1 40 piece involved) pt triple doubles in the bubble finals. Bron went crazy and hit like 7 3s one of them games and Jimmy still outperformed him down the stretch. That series went 6 and Jimmys 2nd and 3rd best players were compromised & didn't play in half the series. I'd call that going toe-to-toe, but that's just me personally.
@@Travsice Jimmy definitely went toe to toe. Davis had an incredible series for them so Jimmy should be proud #HeatNation
Paul George in his paces stint???????
@@Travsice Paul George went toe to toe with 2013 Lebron who was like a video game player because he was at his athletic physical strength peak, Victor went toe to toe with 2018 Lebron who was a man among boys or Thanos because of the mind and athletic abilities put together, Jimmy went toe to toe with 2020 Lebron who was good but wasn’t as athletically dominant.
@@davelouie131 Just because a series goes 7 games doesn't mean someone went toe-to-toe with LeBron.
They couldn't review the play because it wasn't called goaltending on the floor, but it was goaltending for sure! And I'm a Bron fan!
It was definitely goal tending, however, the play before that, Thaddeus Young was the last to touch the ball out of bounds & they gave it to Indiana, so you can say it was justifiably not called.
@@LeHitler plus it wouldn’t have mattered anyway
@@carterbilbro4615 Some have said LeBron would've shot it with less confidence if the Cavs were down, opposed to being tied. But I agree with you.
@@LeHitler "some" is an odd way to spell "Skip Bayless"... but only people with memory issues think that lol. LeBron has hit plenty of game winners while being down.
Only LeBron can hit 2 game winning shots in his FIRST playoff series and be called un-clutch his whole career. I don't get it.
@@Xzei yeah, the LeBron standards seem to have always been unfair & unrealistic. It's the classic case of the media building someone up with all the hype & tearing them down when they live up to it.

JJ manifesting that bron interview 💯💯
As a pacers fan having to relive this makes me sad. We should’ve beat the the Cavs that series but.. it’s all good it was 4yrs ago I just know I’ll never forget how great Dipo was for us.
And he was great loved that series.
lebron willed a lot of unexpected teams to the finals whether it’s 2007 cavs or when kyrie left, and the times he played without love and kyrie(played game1) against gsw and still won 2 games with mozgov as his 2nd best player and jr smith as 3rd, just never been seen that greatness
I'm excited for when JJ brings Bron to the show
when Lbj came back to the cavs, thats when i respected lbj’s game more! He leaned towards skill vs just athletic dominance during his heat years..
Same.
JJ is such a good listener! Thank you.
Earned the name king James that 2nd stint.. Cleveland 2015-2018 maybe the most inspirational basketball I’ve ever seen. It was amazing and I don’t think I’ll be lucky enough to be into a sport/team like I was those lebron lead cavs 🎉
Nice perspective but a lot of people underestimated those Cavs teams who fell short to golden state 3 times
Nobody underestimated. 2017, Kyrie and K Love had some bad games. 2018 team just straight up wasn’t good. Before 2018 it was next to impossible to beat LeBron 4 times before he could beat you.
@@deez9805 Before 2018? Well they lost the Finals in 2017 so 😂

@@jdelgado216 I think Houston would give em a run idk who woulda won but that Houston team was something up 3-2 be4 injury to those same warriors
Which is why I'm still so shocked lebron got his team to the finals. The dude is just different
What he said was "I just walked off like this nigga man" when talking about that 3pt from Lebron. lmfaooo
This interview was sick. Oladipo is legit
Sitting Vic at that time in the game when he was HOT and Bron was out for that ENTIRE 9-0 run was the dumbest decision ever. I remember screaming at my TV about that 😂
I miss Victor Oladipo in Indy!!!
I was at that game 7, it was electric in there. Didn’t sit don the whole game! Bron was already my goat but that solidified it for me
Hands down that Miami heat version of Bron was most dominant.
VICTOR DESERVES ANOTHER CHANCE DONT @ me
2018 LeBron James is the greatest basketball player to ever touch a court. He was INCREDIBLE that season & the team around him was awful. I'm a Cavs fan and I would've rather we kept all the guys we started the season with, regardless of how we were performing 40 games in. I think we still could've gotten in and those guys had experience and were better built for the playoffs

2018 playoff bron was a demon
My favorite year of Bron. That year made me go now I'll entertain your GOAT debates. There was no quit in that man and that's all I've ever wanted from him if he's to dethrone any GOAT and he provided.
Old man and the three= Goats
Victor forgets that the pacers actually got a big break either the play before the goal tend or a few plays before where the ball was out on Indy but they gave back to them anyways which ultimately led to the block
The one and only real good season oladipo ever had
I love how he's so cool about the goaltend. If it happened to me, I might be salty for a long time to come, bro. He's so cool.
It wasnt tho
2018 the beast is unleashed 🔥
That nigga said he averaged 45 that series!!! 😂😂😂 Bron got real estate in these boys head
Oladipo probably the most underrated in the league, always been a workhorse
I remember that series that was def a goal tend but fr that series was tough
It was definitely goal tending, however, the play before that, Thaddeus Young was the last to touch the ball out of bounds & they gave it to Indiana, so you can say it was justifiably not called.
That was a crazy matchup and it proved Victor, when healthy, could lose to a team in the playoffs👏👏👏
No player in history even comes close to the level of dominance and ability to literally control a game or have as much of an impact on a game as only an individual.
Awesome sweater!
JJ they started using instant replay in 2002, so of course they had replay since Victor been in the league.
The king the goat
“Did they have the reply back then”
damn JJ how old do you think Victor is lol
I remember watching that replay so many times to see if it was really a block and even in slow mo I couldn't tell because of the angle the cameras caught it in. Sometimes I see it and it looks like a goaltend because the ball hit the glass and other times it looks like Victor did a finger roll and the ball didn't actually hit the glass. Either way that was a great sequence to watch and LeBron hit that 3 which would've won them the game either way. Great series
It was definitely goal tending, however, the play before that, Thaddeus Young was the last to touch the ball out of bounds & they gave it to Indiana, so you can say it was justifiably not called.
4:20 is where Victor became Kawhi
4:30 Lebron said "he's in his prime rn y'all got him fucked up" JJ🤣
Love that "it was a goaltend, it is what it is"
I was at game 7 one of the best games I ever seen in person
Lebron: I played victor in the play offs? Don’t remember. Lol

the way he mentioned it by the game one series where he started with 51 just shows if they win that first game the series could’ve went a lot different not saying they’d win but they were defeated after losing the way they did the first game
Man I thought vic was gone be the next all time great after watching that series
Cool video bro
I mean he might have goltended but they won by 3 so it wouldnt have mattered either way
2012 Miami heat LeBron James was a different animal he could literally do everything at an insanely high clip that was probably his most athletic prime but 2018 LeBron James was absolutely incredible
2018 Bron looked like a gotdamn nightmare in the playoffs. Nobody wanted that problem… except Golden State simply because they had more firepower. But if KD wasn’t there, I don’t think even they beat Bron that year.
1:13 everything good Vic?
Where to buy oladipo shorts
I can’t help but get annoyed by KD for joining a already really good warriors team and making them unbeatable at that time. Lebron run was so legendary and he was doing what KD should’ve been trying to do and has never done. That run should’ve been capped off with a ring and I believe he would’ve won had he not gone to the warriors.
that was the series of his life. but for lebron it was just another series crazy.
And then he went on to carry against Boston like it was nothing, another game 7 and he played the entire game. Just another series for LeGoat.
The whole 8 year run he came up on some big games many times
1:14 bro had a Kawhi moment 😂
I laughed when he said Bron averaged 45 points. Its just wild how one can do that 😂 & ppl say he’s not a scorer????
@jjreddick what kind of pants are those?
Let’s not forget the bogus out of bounds call against the Cavs before the goaltend.
That’s why they let it go
Yeah make up calls happen at all levels hs, college , pro , lol even rec

His tlkin the true that’s facts 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 respect him for keeping it 💯
Lakers get JJ Reddick and oladipo for sure Lakers must happy to watch
Bron the GOAT. MJ & Bron. No disrespect to any other legend.
It’s just them two. By the time it’s all said and done, they will be 1A and 1B all time. It’ll come down to complete personal preference on what type of player you prefer.
That series was epic. Yet clown discredit LBJ for making it LOOK easy💯🔥
yes it was a goaltend but no one talks about them fouling lebron the play before and it not being called..in the mean streets we call that even Steven 🤷🏽♂️
Victor still looking up at the top of back bales when talking about Bron block/goal tending.
