I think it may because of the machine has a smooth surface, I correctly have a hand gripper that is alot easier to grip and use and I can do 150 pounds pretty easily
I don't exercise much these days and am nearly 50... I still got 137 lbs holding the machine straight out with no theatrics. People need to use squeeze balls and grippers more (or do alot of manual labor. )😊
