    Thanks, this will be helpful for my 97 Altima radio swap I'm going to do soon. One thing I've been asking around about - do you know a way to do this work with the car battery negative post disconnected? All the moving of the shift lever will not be possible without the power on (I guess I could use shift lock release, but I have yet to learn where exactly it is on my car). I want to do the radio removal and installation this way just to make sure there won't be any accidental shorting or anything else that could end up being un-fun.

    Ok for the ashtray why did u just completely skip over what needed to be done to get it to come out. Removing that screw is only half the step.

    its really easy to take out without messing anything up at all this guy just dont kno what hes doing
