"The dynamite they didn't use" Last episode they took 3 sticks for the door and 3 sticks for a failsafe, so they still have 3 left. Jack's key being magnetically attracted ... now would be an excellent time to go back to season 1, episode 13 and review the conversation Sayid and Jack had about the compass...
To be fair, Jack is only saying let's wait until morning to go explore. Also, I'm sure Charlie meant that there were no Others coming that night since it was Danielle who started the smoke.
22:36 What you're describing here... because of Lost I learned about the Six Degrees of Separation. Really fascinating theory on how people's lives intersect. Ps. If you're in nature, with a dog not on a leash, how would you make him stay by you? And why would you want to? Js . Vincent is exploring. Huh huh
Man of science, man of faith. You're getting what they're putting forward, perfectly. Jack IS uptight. Locke is very open. Jack needs proof for everything. Locke wants to learn. Very opposite viewpoints. And fascinating when they go head to head.
I think the worst episode of LOST is Homecoming...its bad on multiple levels. And you are correct, I would still watch that episode over 90% of everything else...maybe more. But after that 1 episode I would probably go up to 99%.... for those that watch LOST for the first time now forget just how bad television had become. LOST changed the game forever. With the exception of a few shows smart TV with storytelling didn't even exist. Before LOST tv wasn't even worth binge watching.
Nurse here. Triage means priority is given to the patient that has the best chance of survival regardless of age. Unfortunately ERs are shortstaffed and when multiple crash victims come in other doctors may be tied up with patients also having a life threatening emergenciy such as heart attacks. Doctors have to make these hard life and death decisions sometimes
About the music, it's probably not copyrighted or something. Other reaction channels managed to keep it on. Also, the Brazilian channel named Reatores posted a video of the 1st group that reacted to Lost (they are in the 3rd), playing and singing that song.
I upload just the songs on youtube to test them and it's definitely protected. Most people will speed up or otherwise alter them. I just prefer to not chance it.
The music in the show is the heart of it. It has a huge impact on the emotions with certain scenes. So without it, the feeling just isn't the same. They're just uhh. The themes set the vibes.
@@Eowyn187 I get that, and please understand that I experience those songs in real time and make the changes in edit. I'm very familiar with the Mama Cass song.
I think Jack's dilemma with pursuing the hatch was based on time. I believe he mentions that without a ladder, there isn't enough time to lower all the survivors down one at a time.
Fantastic ep & reaction! Desmond reveal, good on ya. 😉😜 Not sure Locke telling Kate he was expecting her was meant literally (based on his smile when he said it). Possibly Locke understands that Kate is somewhat fearless or at least more adventurous, so it kinda makes sense that Kate would be the one to high tail it to the hatch. That list of questions is growing... 😆🤣
About the quarantine warning, it seems logical to me that the "area to avoid" is on the other side of the door. In this case, could it be everything outside de hatch? 🤔
Hey Desmond, welcome to the show brotha! Regarding Jack and his denial of some of the strange happenings that have occurred on the island including seeing his father...reminder that the title of this episode is Man of Science, Man of Faith. Who do you think is who?
anybody else watching LexiCrowd react to Lost too? It's amazing to me how we can all watch the same exact show and have one person think Shannon is a poop emoji (Vox) and another one think Shannon is basically their soulmate and perfect (Lexi). Maybe it's just good storytelling that these characters can hit people so differently.
Yes! Been waiting for this! LOST sure knows how to open a season 🤩🤩 Desmond has finally arrived… 😏 Also… did you catch the name of the guy Jack didn’t choose to save? 👀

@@Ely88Keys spoilers... Spoilers... Right. I know. It's just spoiler talk. As far as a first time viewer knows, Desmond could be in the series for a total of 2 episodes and then be killed off after being an asshole. Saying things like this indicates he's a great character and going to be around for a while. Things a first time viewer wouldn't know. It takes some of the intrigue out of the character when people do this. I get it, meeting certain new characters is fun for us because we know them so well having seen the show before, but even our first viewing none of us said, "Oh boy! Desmond is here!" Because we didn't know who he was yet. That's all. No biggie. Just trying to help people think first. Edit: your reply is perhaps a nicer way to approach Desmond at this point. With mystery, intrigue, curiosity. 🤗 Second edit: I totally agree though. Desmond is my #2. 👍
@@OrangeChromethanks for helping me think, I total forgot I even had a brain to begin with! 🤩 Out of the 2 others who also mentioned Desmond in a doubtful-he’ll-be-here-more-than-1-episode kinda way, I’m honored you chose me to yell at
Jack’s choice was just for the script. From what I remember of trauma protocols, cases in which the hospital has the resources to deal with, priority is always given to the most serious one. In a catastrophe in which hospital resources will not be sufficient, the logic is reversed and priority is given to less serious cases, with the idea of causing as few deaths as possible. No other personal criteria should be taken into account
Considering the fact that Jack is a doc seeing the 'Quarantine' door, talk of infections, and that the smoke lurked underground, you'd think he might toss the remaining dynamite down there just to keep Locke out.
Personally, I am Team Jack not to go down in the middle of the night in an unknown underground place without knowing what we will find there. It is a precaution. Locke is irresponsible. He makes decisions that can be dangerous for him or those who accompany him. And who must take care of or save people after: Jack. Locke's quest for the hatch has already cost Boone's life. Getting blind is dangerous. Sayid, the sage, himself found that opening the hatch was not a good idea. Apparently, the final situation with a missing Kate, a Locke threatened with a weapon and a single Jack without help in an underground bunker proves that some precautions seemed necessary. Yes, Team Jack. Hurley asked Locke that he hoped to find in the Hatch and he answered hope. So apparently, hope is a man with a Scottish accent who threatens you with a Gun. 🤣🤣
Yeah, fuck everything Locke does! No matter what, Locke is the worst! Trololololol Spoilers.... I swear man, you're a top tier troll. Or just completely oblivious to the characters of this show. I'm sorry. I wish RUclips allowed us to block people. You just troll so hard.

In the Hurley episode, he is greeted by a Dr that says something like "Hugo, good to see you, what are you doing back here?"

Triage assessment ...which injured person is more likely to survive?. Focus on the one you have the best chance to save.
Jack was quick to dismiss the hatch because his priority is protecting everyone from the others, the hatch can wait
