That looks fantastic, Chris! I downloaded this to watch later and later turned out to be as I made bread dough tonight for breakfast tomorrow. Now I'm re-thinking my plan and thinking I should have planned to make sausage gravy, too. YUM!
The new boots look good and that lug feature on the back is a plus as is the buckle to adjust. I have a pair with the buckle but no lug to help remove. Great boots for spring and fall. That fuel transfer gadget is pretty good to get rid of the partial cans that build up in the shed or garage. I now see why you cook outdoors all the time.......Take care, Mike.
HA HA HA!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe I made that big of a mess for one biscuit! I didn’t have my normal cooking stuff, as I was trying to lighten the load as much as possible. Lesson learned! I spent a couple hours consolidating my “halfies” yesterday.
Right on Chris, I've been wearing Dunlops for my muck boots for years now. They are heavy, clunky and super expensive but they also never wear out. Something lighter would be great and to be able to cinch the top to keep crap from falling into the boots when your moving through the woods would be great. Got my eyes peeled for a cold handle skillet too. Thanks for sharing!
Was fun going for a walk into the woods with ya and eating a small meal. Haven’t done that in a while - was well needed! Boots looked good! Gas valve contraption was a neat idea. Thanks for the video Chris I enjoyed it
That was cool! I’m sure the wind doesn’t like flour! Love the boots. I’m afraid Sir Chris that you have arrived in the elites! 😊 K and I watched it on the big screen! WELL DONE!
Great review of the HI SEA Boot. I agree on the nice & easy heel-kick removal thingy, and the strap for tightening at the top is also a plus. You sold me on them! Of course, you sold me on the Patterson's Gravy, also. I will have to give it a try; I've never been a "canned" gravy fan due to the after-taste, and now with bad kidneys, I have to read all the ingredients to make sure I'm not putting myself in a tailspin! Thanks for taking me along, brother!
Hi Chris, nice boots and Flip Fuel thingamajiggy! never seen that before. Also like your coffee pour over device, never seen one like that. I have a Stanley one. I love biscuits and gravy, one of my favorite breakfasts. Thanks for the video and info. 👍🏻👍🏻
A reasonable pair of boots Chris - I think I'd fork out a few dollars for em. Flip fuel is the way to go for sure - I said on another video of yours I have a loads of cabs here. Well, lovely woodland to hang in and cook up a treat. All the best out there. Mark
Awesome Video from beginning to end Chris 👍🏻🏆 L😍VE The boots ! Awesome little gizmo too But that breakfast!!!! Best of all and out in the bush even makes it that much better 😉👍🏻👍🏻
Nice boots! Super fashionable up here! Are they heavily insulated? Nice little fuel saver. My buddy found canned biscuits with a package of dehydrated sausage gravy inside. They were great so of course I have never seen them again. That was probably 30 years ago. Thank you for letting us watch you eat, Chris. Stay safe and stay cool
Good thing you had those nice high boots for bannock making, LOL! They do look nice. I have similar pair, and it has to be pretty cold before I put them on or my feet super sweat.
Those boots are sweet! That lug feature is genius! Are they snake proof? That fuel gadget is cool! I have a gadget to refill the canisters that works well, but to be able to consolidate cans is nice! Thanks for sharing brother! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi Chris. Never had bought any gravy in a can. Now I think I'm going to find some and try it out. That is a fancy gadget to transfer the fuel like that. Pretty nice boots. I like the lug. I take my boots off the the same way. $80 or so isn't too bad of price. Great video. Take care. ( I finished watching the video and you mentioned where to find your email address)
Hey Chris awesome Boots and the Flipfuel thing is way cool I've got a bunch of the fuel cans half full or less ill have to check them out thanks for sharing have a great week
A couple of questions on the new boots: 1. Are they as warm or warmer than your old pair? 2: How’d they handle (grip/tread)? As always, thank you for the enjoyable video. Sending a email shortly.
Well... it was 60 degrees that day. Even in the winter, our temps rarely dip below 32. These boots might not have the same thickness of neoprene as the MUCK boots, but I don’t really need all that for spring and fall, and especially summer. Tread/grip was similar but the real big advantage is the ease of “removal”. I really like how easy they are to take off.
@@CarolinaChrisOutdoors I’ll have to get myself a pair and try them out. Where I’m up here in NC near Hanging Rock State Park, I believe they’ll work out nicely as the terrain looks very similar to yours. Thank you for the info my friend!
Hey Mr CCO- "Mega Big Time RUclips Influencer "... would you please share some of your sausage gravy???🥺 I believe i still have a can or two of the gravy. I got a few cans at Dollar Tree a few years ago. And the only had it for a limited time. I've not ever seen it up here anywhere else around these parts.
Sounds like me... 1/2 hr to cook.... 2 hrs to clean -up lol Like those boots. I have a hard time finding boots that fit.. So much variance between brands and sizes
Hey, Thanks for watching! Sorry for the long video but I really wanted to show y’all the cool stuff, and I had to eat of course! Cheers!☕️
Very much enjoyed it. Now I want Bis n gravy. Love the EASY OFF BOOTS!! nothing worse than fighting tight boots especially when your tired..or cold.
Good refill option for low canisters a need to have, and nice boots especially the pinching straps and heel lugs.
I personally like the longer vids! Enjoyed as always Chris!
Cool video and thanks for sharing all your cool new stuff. And of course you had to eat!
Those are some good looking boots and that Flip Fuel will be really handy!
That looks fantastic, Chris! I downloaded this to watch later and later turned out to be as I made bread dough tonight for breakfast tomorrow. Now I'm re-thinking my plan and thinking I should have planned to make sausage gravy, too. YUM!
Nice looking boots ! The fuel canister “flip tool” is a great idea & the food looks good! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Thanks for taking us along on another awesome adventure with you. Love the (messy😂) bannock bread. 😀👍✝️
HA! I didn’t have a proper mixing bowl.... it was a mess, FOR SURE, but it tasted good!!! Thanks Rodney!

Boots looked good! Gas valve contraption was a neat idea. Thanks for the video Chris I enjoyed it
those are some good looking boots for sure and a handy little valve have you tried the propane converters yet
Yep... I have the thing I can screw onto a small green tank and run my isobutane camp stoves... I use it in my garage a lot 👍🏻
That was cool! I’m sure the wind doesn’t like flour! Love the boots. I’m afraid Sir Chris that you have arrived in the elites! 😊 K and I watched it on the big screen! WELL DONE!
Yeah...... I’m blaming it on the wind! Good one Mike! I should’ve thought about that!!! HA! Thanks for watching y’all!!! 👍🏻
I like those boots. I like that you can tighten then around the top of your calf and that ledge for kicking them off is just too cool!
Them are some great boots! Enjoy! I am all about biscuits and gravy! Great hanging out in the woods with you! Thanks for sharing!.
Nice boots! I really like that little skillet too! Enjoyed and smashed that thumbs up!
Great job, sir. There's nothing like a good breakfast in the woods. Thanks for bringing us along.

Well the boots are a bust for me. Checked their website for some snake boots but they don't offer them. All good tho
Go move, why hike up a mountain, when you can relax, eat, and have coffee.
Kinda what I was thinking! 😂
