I agree! Plus Segway is a bigger company with better quality control and there's a reason Amazon does 5 monthly payments with any Segway scooter as long as you have Amazon Prime, but they don't do that with any other e-scooter company!
I ride a Max G2 daily! I absolutely love it! Smooth ride and great performance. I would love something faster but that would be a luxury lol Just crossed the 1000 mile mark on it!
i love watching your videos since i live in australia and in the state that i live in e-scooters are legal but, it is limited to 25 km/h (15.5 mph) which feels quite slow so i love watching your videos to know how all different scooters preform (i have the MAX G2) 😁

Oooh, good question. Unfortunately Mitchell tested the 300X and I tested the OKAI. I haven’t ridden the 300X at all since he is in Las Vegas. In the future we plan to have me do all of the testing (which is what we’ve been doing 95% of the time anyway) so we will always be able to compare apples to apples. -Paul
When it comes to speed and portability the GT Sport and Fluid Mosquito are hard electric scooters to beat. The Ninebot MAX G2 and OKAI Neon Ultra have a smoother ride and better traction though. -Paul

Vx pro blows away the apollo solid build quality on v2 love it swiss made. My friend bought two Apollo's and returned both of them and they returned policy is kind of shady.
The NFC key locks and unlocks the scooter, or you can leave it unlocked and just use the power button. You can also lock it with the app. If you mean physically locking it up: Unfortunately leaving a scooter anywhere is risky and the vast vast majority of locks out there can be cut in 1 minute with a cut-off wheel. There are some cutting-wheel resistant locks but they’re in the $200 to $300 range and will resist a good 15 minutes of cutting, plus they will destroy 3 cut-off wheels in the process. We should make a video about the good locks. I tend not to focus on the security measures built into the scooters since none of them are very secure. The one exception being cellular tracking that lets you track and disable your scooter remotely. But only a couple scooters have that. -Paul

I like that GOTRAX requires a PIN and is basically non-functional until you put it in (no phone required). Video on locks would be great!
Which function in the app was buggy? The only one I had a weird experience was a beta feature where the scooter turns on when it senses Bluetooth. -Paul

I wonder how well would a e-scooter handle snow on the road, like half an inch or even one inch of snow on pavement or sidewalk? I definitely wont be going 20mph in such road conditions, but I do hope it will still be rideable at least. Or would it be better if I buy a fat tire e-bike instead? Also, having Apple find-my is cool but I don't own any Apple device. Does that mean this feature is completely irrelevant for me?

They uodated the app some days ago. Now I have seen 25 and 26 in the speedometer. What you guys said in another video is so true. There has been 3 uodates since I bought it and it feels completely different with the updates as it was at first. Even the brake is not as HARD as it used to be. I love it lol, still hopping for the regen brake control on the mobile and the mileage ajustment. I want to ride at 15, 16 mph sometimes and can do it easily with the throtle but always end up accelerating all the way from time to time. So yea it woulb be great!

So the the battery on the neon ultra I bought stoped charging after 4 days and the top speed was 28mph not 22 but I returned it due to bad battery it’s too bad because the ride felt nice and smooth

yes because people think its for riding trails and floating over evey obstacle. The suspension is just for more comfy riding snd not for riding over obstacles with 20mph. I have the g2 max and have 1000km on it and no problems
The only thing i dont like about the Okai Neon Ultra is the range in High (24mph) I get like 10 to 14 miles. I never use it to 0% i charge it at 15-20something. I hope thats normal.

That way I can use lets say 10% and when I turn it on hours latter is in a 100% again. And I live in Puerto Rico and when its to hot its unevitable for it to drain faster and Ive read that in really cold places is bad too.
For our tests, we'll use the app to turn performance all the way up. We'll use P-settings, but we won't use any hacks which could violate the warranty. We use the same standard for all testing on all scooters?

Id say its the minimum viable option for me… Note: Bus max weight is 55lbs (bike rack or carry on) according to local laws (im trying to change.) can you do a round up with weight of scooter? Im thinking >40, 40-69, 70-99, 100+ LBs as categories. Im trying to change the 55lbs to +70lbs legally due to the majority of cheap e-bikes being 60-80lbs.

That scooter is not even UL Certified and uses cheap Chinese batteries. Wouldn't trust it for long term. There is a reason why a lot of the top reviewers for scooters don't review them
More laughable readouts. I've taken a pass on about 10 scooters because of their display. Battery is most important but they insist that maybe riding companions would say "I got to 5.9 mph up that grade. Dude, you beat me, I got to 5.7, we could have gotten speeding tickets!" What a crock. Meanwhile they couldn't see their childish displays with the critical sunglasses on anyway - because the display is blue or green in full sun with sunglasses, completely invisible. Serious riders want white on black everything. When you're pushing that puppy on a dead battery the passing motorists aren't going to wonder if your tiny green invisible battery level indicator wasnt noticed because you didn't stop to take your glasses off and bend over to make shade to see it every mile or so. They're going to know you bought an insufficient set of circumstances at whatever level. Manufacturers: That 7 year old doesn't buy the machine. Tackle serious matters seriously. White displays, largest should be battery percentage, in numerics, speed in bars, you've got it all backwards.

I have a okai ultra and love it it's thicker and a stronger build then any other scooter I've seen it's built to last

The front fork on the Okai should be significantly more durable. The G2 owners have been having issues with the front shock piston bending.

They should really change the top speed rating from 24mph to 22mph. I've read alot of customer reviews and no-one can get up to 24mph.

I don't think nothing can beat the Kugokirin G4 it's only $899 with a 2000 watts motor and looks better in my opinion 😉
That scooter is not even UL Certified and uses cheap Chinese batteries. Wouldn't trust it for long term. There is a reason why a lot of the top reviewers for scooters don't review them

More laughable readouts. I've taken a pass on about 10 scooters because of their display. Battery is most important but they insist that maybe riding companions would say "I got to 5.9 mph up that grade. Dude, you beat me, I got to 5.7, we could have gotten speeding tickets!" What a crock. Meanwhile they couldn't see their childish displays with the critical sunglasses on anyway - because the display is blue or green in full sun with sunglasses, completely invisible. Serious riders want white on black everything. When you're pushing that puppy on a dead battery the passing motorists aren't going to wonder if your tiny green invisible battery level indicator wasnt noticed because you didn't stop to take your glasses off and bend over to make shade to see it every mile or so. They're going to know you bought an insufficient set of circumstances at whatever level. Manufacturers: That 7 year old doesn't buy the machine. Tackle serious matters seriously. White displays, largest should be battery percentage, in numerics, speed in bars, you've got it all backwards.
