Am I the only one who thinks this music video ia extremly well directed? Intense cinematography and angle choices, great use of color. Also it has managed to capture the very best movements of each member. Over all very disturbing but mesmerizing. It reminds me of the movie 'Trainspotting'.

The bassline in this song is insane. I remember trying to learn it when the song came out, and damn was it not easy to get the speed and precision down.
Fun fact: Whoever directed this used the pseudonym "Alan Smithee" which directors use when they hate the final product too much to put their own name on it.

At times I really hear some Jim Morrison influence, but Julian is also uniquely distinguishable from anyone and everyone. The Strokes are so damn good. I play guitar but when I first picked it up I knew I had to learn this bass part. I love to play both instruments.
