RIP Pat. I've always loved his kick sound from back then. Even in all the live videos of Mr. Big shows from way back in the day, the kick just fills up the sound. Awesome guy and awesome player. Big influence on my playing.

Just stumbled across this... Got to see these guys open up for Rush and saw how solid Pat is, big respect. What's super cool is I play and feel super comfortable on a four piece. I also when having another rack tom I did the same thing over to the L, and I also have purchased a 15" & 16" floor toms because I've always called the 18" floor tom (which I've had many decades ago) hitting and sounding like mud in a live rock situation. Super cool we share those common things, never saw anyone else say the same thing that I've done years ago. I always felt and told my students everything is actually built around the four piece set, but most don't get it. Pat does. I'm sure he stumbled upon those things before me but super cool again we have that in common. BIG Respect to Pat, the world needs more people like him.

No I didn't get in trouble for these videos, I got in trouble for a stupid ZZ Top video called "LaGrange". It was the only ZZ Top song I did. I had tons of Led Zeppelin, and many many others, and I get busted for one song. Stupid. Thanks for watching. My account now is totally fine. No problems. JOEDRUMS
