Good to know in dept all of this. Thank you so much Marina. That's I thought why so quicky Coco Wyo publishes her/ his book fast. When I have to draw at list over 20 days for all interiors, cover and A+ for clients! Thank you ❤

Exactly. So if you are working alone there is no way you can match what the company is doing at the same speed rate.

I am amazed how u have cracked this. This has to be the best business case study i have seen. No one, literally no one from the big youtubers talk about this. I wonder if they themselves are also clueless or they know whats up and on purpose dont reveal it to their followers

@@rashn2065 Sadly this is just tip of the iceberg. More revelations are coming in my next video. Tomorrow hopefully.
But just, they do not share this because how would you then buy the "make easy book, see this one is making $4999 a month, you can do it too"
Yes, if you have a guy running a phone farm to leave you 50+ reviews on the day books go live...

You speak the truth! Many thanks for always keeping KDP real. Libby xx

Thank you Libby. The more I look at it the more it is obvious Coco Wyo did the textbook step-by-step what everyone is telling KDP publishers to do, find, bend, and publish as your own.
Was looking into what could Megan do to prevent this.
Maybe file for copyright on her book last year? And then issue takedowns for anyone that directly copies her?
But then people would complain she did not "invent" the bold and easy coloring and has no right to stop others from publishing similar books.
Weird situation to be in. You create something that goes viral and someone else makes it into a million dollars business model.

Very weird situation indeed. I have been publishing on KDP for over 4 years now, and only my sense of humor has enabled me to keep on publishing amid all other publishers & KDP's shenanigans. 😂

Good video! To be honest, seems a lot of people other than the top sellers have subpar coloring books that look AI generated. When doing research, any book that actually looks hand drawn by an illustrator is making sales. It's a good niche still if willing to pay someone to illustrate a decent coloring book as a non artist. I think most people don't want to pay because that means they are already negative profit until sales come in. On Fivver, it seems a decent illustration for one page is $10 for simple one object page, and then $15 for the cute cozy scene style coloring page. That's $400 to $600 for 40 pages. Then publishers that pay an illustrator seem to only have a few bold and easy style coloring books because it's expensive to hire someone so they need to recoup cost first to move forward with the next title. Also, I don't see many come up with an original idea versus poorly trying to recreate what's already available it's obvious AI is used. However, I found a few AI generated that makes consistent sales, but you can tell they did a lot of prompting and also cleaned up the images to fit the bold and easy niche.

Anyone who is bitter about Cocowyo’s success is just jealous. That Tik Tok you showed claims that Cocowyo copied Megan Miles and it’s true that they were obviously inspired by her, but let’s face it, Cocowyo did it better, are cheaper, and coupled with their social media strategy, that’s why they are successful. I also don’t understand why it was wrong if they were inspired by Bobbie Goods, because their art style is still quite different and so are their coloring book scenes.

@@tocacheeks3697 Nothing legally wrong. And the success is not even an issue, never was. "Coco Wyo" is not an artist but a person that hires labour to do the work inspired by other. They did not do it better but faster. If you have money to hire everything to be done by someone else ofcourse it would work. Artists like Megan can't come up with books that fast. And it was Megan makes they copy Megan makes they copy. Just close enough to be different. And it's not bitterness. The fact they deleted their entire business to rebrand as exact replica of what Megan is doing. Point of the video is a lot A LOT of people think Coco Wyo is a woman that somehow managed to do all that. And can actually draw original work. So people (artists ) are inspired thinking they can achieve same. But in fact it takes a lot of hiring around.

Coco Wyo copied this idea and book cover from Megan Miles Art or bobbie goods (Coco Wyo are not original, they only follow trends set by other creators)

    • @MarinaArtDesign
      @MarinaArtDesign  Месяц назад

@@DaneA-x3m Yes. They did everything as per rules. It doesn't look nice, but that is how business works. They changed everything enough to avoid copyright claims and also if we look at it, it would be hard to stop anyone, not just Coco from doing this or similar.
Basically Coco started the trend of copying other Coloring books successfully, and within the law.
Megan and Bobbie did the heavy lifting for everyone.
They all showed us how important it is to have social media presence for your book brand.
