Hmm, The Cozy Pals (Dorothy Hope) is the same address as the dead CocoWyo attempt. The odds of that among 340+ million people in the US...I suspect Dorothy Hope is CocoWyo or vice versa. One last tidbit, As of January 18th, the fees to register trademarks have gone up in the US with no grandfathering. So if Dorothy Hope has to file any additional/supporting paperwork starting Jan 19, she will have to pay the additional fees, some of which were free before.

Hi Marina, I discovered your channel today, and to be completely honest, I am so happy to have found you! I have recently published a couple of books on KDP but the tutorials I learnt from were using different tools and websites than Canva. I have, however, used a book cover template from Canva on one of my books and now I am scared it will be blocked... Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed! I'm completely new to the topic and the more videos I watch the more I understand that this is not as easy as it seems in the beginning. All the "gurus" on YT teach you random things, and it all looks easy... then we stumble upon a channel like yours, genuine and no BS, and Oops... There are so many videos on YT that it is overwhelming.... but with genuine people like yourself, I find it easier to navigate the whole journey! I subscribed and I'm going to watch more of your videos now!

Thank you. I am so hurt! I have lived that store since Oct 2020 purchased bundles and singles faithfully ever since. I hand been through multiple laptops since then and a couple years ago decided to keep my purchases stopped on their platform until I use it and then delete the assets after and download again when I need it. They can't even afford to refund me for my purchases. I don't want a refund. I want my downloads 😢. How can we even get ahold of them anyway? My email bounced.

That's just not right I purchased a lot on Designcuts and didn't downloadet it ! (I was doawnloading on a needing basis like when I was making a project). Isn't there a possibility to get what I paid for ?!

This is so frustrating!!!! I am so upset. I am pretty sure I did not get all of the downloads. Grrrr... Hi Marina, I love your videos so much! I am an artist who wants to draw and make my own colouring book eventually this year but I have a question for you. When I search Amazon, a majority of colouring books/art are just done by AI and most of the time it is obvious. What program/method(s) are people using for that these days?

What if we edit our images in canva, download it as PNG and then we reupload it onto to canva? So we can merge all our images into one file and then export it as PDF print? Will doing this remove any AI generated data on our images?

It is so frustrating. I bet all coloring book providers would happily choose a different more expensive paper weight. Yes it would raise prices but customers would be so much happier - and we would not use full black pages either. (that cannot be cheap either).

But if You click on "Yes", meaning that You used AI eraser among other tools, would the book be blocked anyway? 🤔

That said, just wanted to confirm with you, if we create our interior pages within canva but download each page as a Png but merge the pages using another pdf tool, then the AI Metadata will not be there when we go to merge thepng images? Also, can you kindly recommend a pdf converter to use, or can we do this within the paint. Net tool? Thanks so much and I will be watching back for your reply.

Anyone who is bitter about Cocowyo’s success is just jealous. That Tik Tok you showed claims that Cocowyo copied Megan Miles and it’s true that they were obviously inspired by her, but let’s face it, Cocowyo did it better, are cheaper, and coupled with their social media strategy, that’s why they are successful. I also don’t understand why it was wrong if they were inspired by Bobbie Goods, because their art style is still quite different and so are their coloring book scenes.

Hello Marina. Great video. You are very generous with your knowledge. This is a bit off topic but amazon has started blocking my books end of november. These are the books that were selling really well. I just updated their price. The email is the same generic email "might cause disappointing customer experience". I have contacted them many times through the chat feature but so far nothing useful has come out of it. I was wondering if you or anuone else has this experience or were able to resolve it. Good video! To be honest, seems a lot of people other than the top sellers have subpar coloring books that look AI generated. When doing research, any book that actually looks hand drawn by an illustrator is making sales. It's a good niche still if willing to pay someone to illustrate a decent coloring book as a non artist. I think most people don't want to pay because that means they are already negative profit until sales come in. On Fivver, it seems a decent illustration for one page is $10 for simple one object page, and then $15 for the cute cozy scene style coloring page. That's $400 to $600 for 40 pages. Then publishers that pay an illustrator seem to only have a few bold and easy style coloring books because it's expensive to hire someone so they need to recoup cost first to move forward with the next title. Also, I don't see many come up with an original idea versus poorly trying to recreate what's already available it's obvious AI is used. However, I found a few AI generated that makes consistent sales, but you can tell they did a lot of prompting and also cleaned up the images to fit the bold and easy niche.

I brought two coco wyo books and they came stapled in both cases it was books with 24 hr or same day so i would advise against 24 hr or same day… i traded one of the books in and got it fixed and I’ve noticed that ppl are selling other ppl book on Etsy …coco wyo for example. Ppl are buying copy right books from temu because . They don’t know . 2. Can’t afford $8 book that has printer paper for that price. Not right but the first thing to go when things get tough is hobbies and things like name brand name things. Not fair but the entire capitalist system is screwing us all. Ppl can’t afford to pay and then they steal from the artist which makes them lose money not to mention Mr. Benzo taking a much bigger cut …. Also AI work is repetitive and lacks that human touch. I understand ppl are upset at coco Wyo for supposedly copying other ppl concepts and the filing of the trade mark for bold and easy but that’s been a thing in every industry…and there are only so many topics to make a coloring book on. I don’t think the best of ppl who hate on others and when I see other creators bad mouthing coco Wyo it doesn’t make me want to buy their stuff. And usually when I check out their stuff there are clear reasons why they aren’t selling. One creator charged the same for 5 pdf as a whole book on Etsy . And her prices were sky high . I am not paying 10 bucks twice, especially when the paper is so bad …pdf are so I can print to card stock . Of course the bold and easy books paper aren’t as bad as the create space blk backed ppl…or that awful ppl that sucks markers dry…

hello marina thank you for the usefull videos , i just have a problem with my covers of coloring books in amazon , they appear not that bright and blurry comparing to other authors books,despite using canva pro , pdf print version , and CMYK colors , idk where is the problem either in canva's resolution or something else , i would be so happy if you find a solution .thank you.

Coco Wyo copied this idea and book cover from Megan Miles Art or bobbie goods (Coco Wyo are not original, they only follow trends set by other creators)

Very greedy and shameful of Coco Wyo, maybe they abandoned because they could not proof that their idea was original and that they copied it from Megan Miles. its so obvious coco wyo copied someone elses ideas and book cover, no wonder they abandoned their attempt to dominate this niche, they are cheaters

Coco Wyo book covers look like they have been copied from Megan Miles designs (from Meg Publishing) coloring books. Shameful of Coco Wyo and then doing the deed of applying to trying to trademark common use terms in the coloring community so that other published authors books would have to be removed from being sold, it is such unconscionable conduct of the Coco Wyo Brand. I won't buy another Coco Wyo book because of that action, it is very greedy indeed.
