HI Marina, On November 23, 2023 I purchased Cross+A (for windows only) based on your recommendation. I have not used it yet because I have the reverse problem like you had, lol. I have a Macbook Pro, so am looking for a cheap Windows computer to use it. I just don't want to overlap with software. By the way i think you did very well on price getting your first Mac and Catalina is a good version. once you get the hang of it you will love it. So I got the email from you about the "Minos Maze Maker Pro for Mac" and "Puzzle Maker Pro". Is that for mac also or just windows? I also heard you briefly talk about "Whirlwind Word Search fo a Mac". Does this have a batch feature (to make multiple at once?) also if bought now will this include any future updates if it becomes segmented (full/pro, etc?and do you see any major updates coming from them soon that I do not know about and timeline? I have read all the material I could find so far and watched your videos on this so anything you could add would be helpful. Thanks and keep the tutorials coming.
I do not think I will be using Mac anything more than just ON - export puzzle - move them to PC - OFF :D I get it that it want to be like a luxury fancy computer, but it is just too preposterous.
And good for you for looking cheap PC! You can get a more powerful system for the same price of old Mac.
My last video is about Eduard Schwan puzzle generators and yes, it is only for Mac, that is why I bought the Mac. He is very welcoming to suggestions and also himself makes puzzle books so it is in his interest to make better programs with more features. Wordsearch is getting a lot of updates, bulk export is one of them. You can test it now, free versions are available in Apple store.
And Cross+A is just like winning on lottery, if used properly.

Hi Marina, I also bought Schwan's program a few moths ago to also support him and have been beta and alpha testing with him and team. Much progress is being made. Weeee
What do you suggest for a beginner wanting to create different types of puzzles for Kdp sales? This licensing stuff, design, and etc., is quite overwhelming when trying to get started in the puzzle realm? I am retired so am looking to keep myself busy, have fun, and make a little money potentially (if at all possible). Is there a business in a box (if you will), where there is niche research, creation of interiors, book covers and the like, so I am not all over the map.
It does seem that there is a lot of work involved in the beginning, but once set up, it might go okay? There are a lot of t’s to cross and i’s to dot through the process though. Ideally, if possible, just want a software or softwares to make as smooth as possible. But I don’t mind the hard work in the beginning. Have some software in mind, but not sure in the mid to long run if good, especially given Amazon’s rules and regulations. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
First, huge apology for not replying sooner. As for puzzle books I would recommend that you talk with people around you (especially if you live in USA) find out what they would like, include them in your book development. After you publish the book buy author copies and share it with them. Make them feel involved, share that story in the book as well and in the description.
If you just make book and publish you will spend tonne of money on ads and marketing when you could easily get same or better results for free, just a little community work.
@ No problem, with regard to late reply. All right, I’ll look into the of what mentioned if possible. I’m in the US. Yes, advertising and so on can get pricey. Thanks for your input.
