    Thank you for the wonderful explanation. What to do when the leaves lighten due to over absorption of chemical from the tap water? Now I use soft water but the leaves are already much lighter. Can the orchid be saved?

    My orchids always turn yellow after repotting. I use moss and bark mix and other things in the past but they always turn yellow and in some cases they die. Can you help?

    I received 2x orchards. One is doing great sitting under cover, on an outside table, with filtered light. The other, was placed in a greenery where it got direct morning light which burnt the main body on one side & got some extra water drips from above plants in excessive rain. It now seems the dead new leaves died from the excessive sun damage. I did everything I found on YT channels but the plant has now lost all leaves while the other, which live over an hour away, is thriving in almost similar conditions.
    What the hell is going on?
    Some say the sun killed it, which looks right & your sight recommends sunlight, it’s very confusing.

      Normally sun damage occurs when plant just brought out from greenhouse, but sun damage not dangerous for orchids and healing fast, when plant develops resistant to ultraviolet over the time. I think it was something else, excessive rain water maybe. I have orchids plant growing in the places with direct sun exposure and thriving.

      Dry it out first, then if your orchid have some healthy roots left, that a good chance to save it , watch our video: ruclips.net/video/8XgOQQDwJR4/видео.html

    Paula from. Mexico. I have two Dendrobiums, that have blanching of yellow. They are not old leaves, is that because of too much fertilizer??? Thank you.

    You said yellow leaves don’t need to be cut off, then cut it off.

    • @nlbhaduri
      @nlbhaduri 2 месяца назад

      If you listen again she clarifies by saying that you can cut yellowing leaf off after it has turned completely yellow .
