You should test with the Ufo at lower Hertz, like 80Hz, 160Hz etc.. Some monitors really struggles with that so it really shows how the monitor will feel in games.
@@konstantinosvakouftsis4086 Some of the professional photo monitor award winners have been 8-bit+FRC, so I can't agree with that. Although yeah, the meaningfulness of 10-bit very much varies depending on what you do.
Unfortunately you did not cover the most important aspect of gaming monitors, input lag at native resolution and refresh rate that is. It's puzzling why you've decided to test it at 1080p. It's the only thing holding me back from purchasing this monitor, as the input lag at its native res/refresh rate is still a big unknown.
@@Jo-bx6ez Unfortunately not, in the end i went with the Dell G2724D which is available in Europe for incredibly good price, also it's a well-tested monitor - incredibly low input lag, 165Hz, perfect accuracy in sRGB mode which also doesn't lock anything. I would avoid this Lenovo monitor until it's actually reviewed.
I also need to purchase this monitor. i think is not on Nvidia compatible monitors list but using DP cable it will work anyways. At least this is what i have seen on internet. Since is a new model, i am thinking the G-sync certification will come later, probably.
@@SpecialyKey Hey, would love if you could report back on how the performance is, especially ghosting/reverse ghosting, I'm interested from the aspect of competitive FPS games
@@hydro1337x-y6f sorry for the late reply. but before leaving a review I had to go in depth an test it for at least 2 weeks. what I woul like to say its that I consider this monitor to be worth of its money, it def the best "budget" option for an IPS display, 27 inch, 1440p, 240hz, 0.5 ms reaction time, and if you re using an amd graphics card you will benefit from free sync as well. I ll get to some pros and cons, if anything, bounce back to me. cons : - seems like a cheap non solid build, even thought it looks visually pleasing, they could have made the overall build be more stable. for example, if I am slightly moving my desk, the monitor will be shaking very easily. - the power cable could have been more stable as it plugs into the monitor. if I move it less than an inch the monitor will disconnect. this was annoying at start until I had to find a way to fix it and make it more stable, now I no longer have this issue but keep it in mind. - this might be a little bit subjective, but the out of box display settings are quite underwhelming, however, after going through settings in less than 10 minutes I got some amazing colors. Pros : - GREAT value for the money. literaally getting both image quality and performance. getting the whole back for an accessible price compared to other monitors on the market. IPS display, 27 inch size, 1440p, 0.5ms reaction time, HDR, everything you really need. - visual pleasing. good chromatic. - GREAT colors after tweaking. literally surprised, I came from a TN panel before and what I can say it is amazing. very clear, powerful, clean colors. - no ghosting, reverse-ghosting, no dead pixels at least with my copy. - VERY LOW input lag. everything is crisp. I upgraded from a 1080p 240hz monitor, however, this one is way more SMOOTH. makes me think if mine had some sort of defect since the difference. amazing responsive time. - great for both FPS - I play both csgo and AAAs, getting the best of both worlds. - controls are very easy to use, the settings menu is easy and simple, with multiple profiles to be tried. - viewing angles are great. I am very satisfied with it. a solid 9/10. the only downside is the build could ve been more solid, but, its an amazing monitor with a great value for the money.

10 bit with frc is pointless anyway. I hate it. 10 bit drops the hrtz to 165. Personally I don't see any difference in 165 and 240.
