Yep. Many racers will do all the things around the house. Mow, paint, sort the garage, clean the gutters, get their affairs in order... all a pre-race ritual/preparation just in case they don't come back.
Yeah it’s a pretty crazy course. my dad died racing there in 2004, and my half brothers dad died racing there in 2006. I’ve been round it in a car many times and I can see why it’s so addictive. My dad crashed on quarry bends going around 160mph-180mph and hit the embankment and stopped dead and then the bike hit him, it literally liquified him to the point they abandoned the autopsy because they said his organs were indistinguishable and it was like a bowl of soup.

One might call it a recreation, but i submit that it’s more accurate to call it a time-killing diversion. Femunists object when women are under represented in male dominated fields e.g. CEO roles. Have you heard any complaints from femunists about the dearth of women being killed in these 'death jobs'? Strange that the femunists are silent when gender equality would disadvantage women!
