I always love it when you share your Bible time! My kiddos are little (2 & 4), but it gives me such encouragement to think about homeschooling when they are older and being able to have time like this with them daily.

Every election there are millions of disappointed people, but regardless of party or ideology, God is King. We should continue to follow what Jesus calls us to do. If He could narrow it down to first, love God and then, love all (enemies/friends/neighbors), we certainly don’t need to ad lib or make it more complicated❤️✝️

I have a question for you, how do you choose when it comes to stores who do support and who not to? I have boycotted target for many years and when trying to teach our kids what to stand up for I’m just curious on how you go about that? I know we can’t boycott them all (a.k.a. Starbucks etc.) lol But how do you choose?
I don’t boycott businesses, if we look to the values of every company we purchase or use we would have none left. So instead when I find a Christian company or owner I love, I try to go above and beyond.

How do you keep your kids from interrupting or running away/playing/making obnoxious noises while you read?
I have a 5 year old and this is our main struggle. Obviously consequences happen but I feel that forcing him to sit and listen goes against what I’m going for in our homeschool. 😬
I force and make them listen 😂 for reasonable amounts of time. Self control is only learned when exercised
