He said Eric was like a modern day Steve Marriott, which got my attention, but he already had me at him and Sheehan in a band together. Unfortunate timing, as well. Their first two albums were released in 1989 and 1991. By that time, big hair and leather pants were being replaced by flannel shirts and thrift store wardrobes, and the "grunge era" bands were beginning to dominate.

Mr. Big always the best example of how sheer talent doesn't necessarily guarantee success as a band. Don't get me wrong, I know they were huge in Japan and that they still had a couple of hits but they were never as big as they probably should have been. Especially not with two literal gods of their instruments in Sheehan (bass) and Gilbert (Guitar) in the band.
1989-One of the best summers of my life. Had a summer job between 1st and 2nd year of college, dayshift in shipping at a factory, then a 3 hour job delivering parts from it in southern Ontario to Michigan. Made some good coin getting paid to drive into the sunset and first discovered Z-Rock, an AM all hard rock station when I crossed into Michigan. Got to hear all the new hard rock and metal releases 3 months before "some" of them came to Canada! Mr Big, Warrant, Skid Row, and many others a couple times a week for 3 months before they came out up here! I was in HEAVEN! And hearing Judas Priest "Ram It Down", Anthrax "Indians", Alice Cooper's "Poison" all on AM Radio- well, I thought I was dreaming! And to boot, I made enough to buy my mint '84 Monte Carlo AND, started dating a hot young lady from the factory I delivered to, on the companies dime! Up there in the top 3 of my best summers of my life! Footloose and fancy free!

Lookin' for a little thang
To fit into my plans
On the town I'll hurt you down
I'm walkin' like a man
(whoooooo)
Watch it touch me deep inside
(whoooooo)
Somethin' snaps inside my mind
(whoooooo)
When I feel it comin' ain't no sense in runnin'
I'm addicted to that rush
Every time we touch
Never get enough, one more...
I'm addicted to that rush
Every time we touch!
Never get enough
'Cause I'm addicted to that "rush"
(whoooooo)
Watch it touch me deep inside
(whoooooo)
Somethin' snaps inside my mind
(whoooooo)
When I feel it comin' ain't no sense in runnin'...
Once I thought her lovin'
Was a habit I could break!
But when I go without it
My body starts to ache
Addicted to that rush
Every time we touch!
I'm addicted to that "rush"
...baby!
Never, never, never, never, never get enough!
(whoooooo)
Watch it touch me deep inside
(whoooooo)
Somethin' snaps inside my mind
(whoooooo)
oh... When I feel it comin' ain't no sense in runnin'...
I'm addicted to that "rush"
Addicted to that rush
I'm addicted to that "rush"
Addicted to that rush
I'm addicted to that "rush"
I'm addicted to that "rush"
Addicted to that rush
I'm addicted to that "rush"
yeow!
hurt me!

Cuando era joven,
Mi mamá me dijo
Estoy enganchado a esa emoción
Cada vez que nos tocamos
Nunca es suficiente
Porque estoy enganchado a esa emoción, ¡yeow!
Miro a mi alrededor, me detengo y miro fijamente
Necesito probar
Mujeres bonitas por todas partes
No tenemos tiempo que perder
Buscando algo pequeño
Que encaje en mis planes
Por la ciudad, te rastrearé
Camino como un hombre
(whoooooo)
Siento que me toca profundamente por dentro
(whoooooo)
Algo se activa en mi mente
(whoooooo)
Cuando siento que viene, no tiene sentido huir
Estoy enganchado a esa emoción
Cada vez que nos tocamos
Nunca es suficiente, una vez más...
Estoy enganchado a esa emoción
¡Cada vez que nos tocamos!
Nunca es suficiente
Porque estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
(whoooooo)
Siento que me toca profundamente por dentro
(whoooooo)
Algo se activa en mi mente
(whoooooo)
Cuando siento que viene, no tiene sentido huir...
Una vez pensé que su amor
Era un hábito que podría romper
Pero cuando paso sin él
Mi cuerpo comienza a doler
¡Enganchado a esa emoción
Cada vez que nos tocamos!
¡Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"!
...nena!
¡Nunca, nunca, nunca, nunca, nunca es suficiente!
(whoooooo)
Siento que me toca profundamente por dentro
(whoooooo)
Algo se activa en mi mente
(whoooooo)
oh... Cuando siento que viene, no tiene sentido huir...
Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
Enganchado a esa emoción
Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
Enganchado a ese subidón
Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
Enganchado a ese subidón
Estoy enganchado a ese "subidón"
¡yeow!
¡Hazme daño!
Gracias nene
Te quiero

Hard as rock.
Unbelievable.
The best band 🔥
かっこよすぎ!!
These guys are insane.
Mr. Big always the best example of how sheer talent doesn't necessarily guarantee success as a band. Don't get me wrong, I know they were huge in Japan and that they still had a couple of hits but they were never as big as they probably should have been. Especially not with two literal gods of their instruments in Sheehan (bass) and Gilbert (Guitar) in the band.
a true rock and roll super group. their concerts were amazing!
Fantastic rocker from 1989 !!!
well look who's finally got a vevo :P
Nice! I’ll never forget watching them play their first show ever, at the Omni, a small club in Oakland California. We waited nearly an hour for them to come out before it was announced that the show has been postponed for 30 days due to an illness with one of the bandmembers. Came back 30 days later, Paul had a custom made dark blue suit on with F hole patterns all over it, and we were blown away with what the band did. I’ve never been so impressed with a guitar player in person before or after that gig.
@@davidbrucemusicvideo Never been to a show that was cancelled before, which would be a huge letdown, but sounds like they made up for it later!
Brian Sauer, they didn’t need to make up for it, just the fact that we got to see the first ever show from this band was phenomenal, and it was in a small club! I think it was something like a 700 capacity place
Love the technicals in that!
Rock Will Never Die !!!!!
This is maybe the most underrated rock tunes ever.
