    Great images Richard, getting back to the basics every now and then can be so liberating. Stacking certainly has it over tracking when it comes to capturing reflections.
    Have you ever tried Nikon NX studio for raw processing? I find it very good for Nikon lens corrections, including vignetting wide open.

    Ripper Rita!! Magnifique! Yes I was excited 😁. How did you feel shooting a bit simpler??? Did you feel that you were missing your right arm by not having your tracker?!! Would love to see your editing process on these!!

      Thanks Carmel. No, it was quite pleasant. I'm going to do a video shooting the same subject with and without the tracker as a comparison.

    Wow, you had a very productive night!… and I guess you’re too far south for crocodiles in that swamp, right?

      Haha, yes no crocs in this part of the world . .but lots of other critters in there. Thanks for watching Fred.

    First class, Richard! I noticed you designate your Nikon as the "Z6iia." What is the "a" stand... for? Astro-modified?

    Thanks Richard for another amazing video. I still haven't got a tracker so this was a great help. Have you made an up to date editing tutorial with all the photoshop improvements for non tracker editing.

    • @nightscapeimages.richard
      @nightscapeimages.richard  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don't have an updated editing tutorial specifically for a non tracked image . .although the editing technique is very similar .. I will do that at some stage.

    What was you white balance setting on the camera? Thanks

    • @nightscapeimages.richard
      @nightscapeimages.richard  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Neil. For this camera I set the white balance at 3300K with a slight adjustment of plus 1.5 green tint as it's a h-alpha modified camera. However I do change the colour quite a bit in post processing.
