I love how 8 months ago you said you didn’t like country and now you are realizing how many great new artists there are. I used to cringe at country and now it’s one of my main genres. Enjoying the channel!
I think it's because for a while there country music was very cringe (2011 - 2016). It's been really, really good in recent years.

Your ear for a Nickelback sound isn’t wrong here. Bailey said during a TikTok live about a year ago that his three biggest musical influences were Cody Johnson, Nickelback, and someone else I can’t remember of the top of my head. Also the crazy story about him is that he didn’t know he could sing a little more than a year ago. He was at the park with some friends and a buddy had a guitar and Bailey tried to sing a Luke Combs song and everyone there told him he could sing. He went home and made a TikTok and the rest is history. He’s a rising star in country for sure.

Love the raspiness to his voice. I took him to say that he was in love, she left him and he finds out she's pretending to be great and haha she's getting what she deserves for leaving him. Nickelback is an awesome band. All those types are still fantastic and that’s what is coming back, that type of music with a twist. 3 Doors Down, Breaking Benjamin, Seething, Foo Fighters, life house, puddle of mudd, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, the list goes on and on- all great bands.

I love watching you making comments about the songs on here! I used to not be into country music like you. I like the new stuff way better than the old stuff. Some of the stuff doesn't even sound country to me. Not sure if you ever heard Jimmie Allen's before. I love his Freedom Is A Highway song! Check that one out!! But yeah Bailey Zimmerman's voice is so unique! I love that about him. In that song Fall In Love the first verse is about what exactly happened to me! The only difference was we planned to move to Florida and not South Carolina and I didn't buy her a car! I'm glad I didn't do that! LOL You and I seem a lot alike around the same age maybe. I play guitar and drums and I thought you might too I wasn't sure. I just started watching your videos here. Looking forward to more!!

I love Bailey Zimmerman and this song specifically! Surprised you checked out the acoustic version. It’s a great version and shows off his voice more but it doesn’t have have the same scornful energy and rock influence the regular version has. Definitely Rock and a Hard Place is the next one by Bailey to check out. Great songwriting on that one!

Also, me personally never thought I’d really like Parker McCollum but during a rough patch last year with my now fiancé I really began to love his music. Gold chain cowboy is a great album and my top 2 songs from that album are “ to be loved by you” and “rest of my life.”
