That dress is amazing. I think you can style it so many different ways, with bright belts, purses, or shoes/boots. You can absolutely wear it to a wedding, there's nothing bridal about it. It would look great with a long coat.

Prada shoes are so comfortable, not only beautiful! Love yours. I know you have many others. I wish I could wear others you are recommending. Now I seem limited to Prada and Tods (mmm, yah, ie, Prada). I was able to walk in Prada boots from lower Manhattan to upper midtown without any discomfort whatsoever. That’s like 8-9 miles (1/3 or 1/4 marathon). I can’t wear most shoes “for fashion” bc of broken bones in one foot. Nothing nice now fits except PRADA…(and the Tod’s utility boot, making me looking like an astronaut, with a NOTE from Tods stating “do not get wet” (paraphrase)). (Boots you cannot get “wet?!) No more Tods. Will delay “sketchy” surgery on a broken foot until I can’t wear any Prada shoes. And the simplest orthopedic flats you’d probably urge anyone to toss out (or only use indoors, as slippers). LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. NO ONE DOES THIS BETTER THAN YOU. (NO ONE CAN.) You are TALL, and lithe with proportions like a model. I thought you might be shorter, bc give off vibes of “delicacy” (though you can rock big jackets, coats, menswear). I realized you must be TALL when I entered COS in Zurich, then also London. The fabric is voluminous it seems so you need to be tall to carry it off. BTW (risking too many comments, two more): (1) 🔥 Tuba Avalon: “I feel so ethereal and better than anybody else in this dress… I can even marry in this dress.” Should you wear it as a guest at a wedding? No. COCKTAILS or “festive” (don’t risk upstaging the bride, unless it’s two grooms). (2) There is no difference between dark navy and black, or between navy and black, as it’s (with natural fibers at any rate) injection of a higher amount if indigo into the fabric’s fibers (making the nature if the fibers matter a lot; top Loro Piana wool in “black” … they’ve got at least two fiber samples for “black” with an eye to use those fabrics in (mens or women’s) custom suiting, and they have another few swatches going as so-called “navy.” It’s hard to articulate the shock when I said “I cannot feel the difference between black and navy,” then being validated the first time in my life…. There is “NO ‘black,’ at all, it’s instead how deeply dark is the achieved “outcome” from “forcing indigo into fibers”(according to Loro Piana tailors).
