We have had 3 of these 18g guns, since January and have been used/abused daily in a high production environment (project home 2nd fix) they have performed faultless, never leaves nail heads poking out, plenty of power, great line of sight. Love the small safety tip and the fact you dont have to depress it like other guns. Cordless guns just don't cut it for us, too big / heavy and slow.
Awesome review guys, after viewing the video few times I went out and purchased the 18, 16 & the 15GA. They are a precision tool and extremely easy to use. Thanks for the reviews. Cheers
Just bought the 16ga for 50% off retail here in Canada. I normally run ridgid guns but the safety is annoying coming from not using a safety for years on my 18ga guns. This 16 gauge feels much better than the 18ga I had a while ago. Maybe time to give the 18ga another try? Love the precise placement of the tip and the almost lack of a safety. Maybe I'll get the 15ga too!
I've got the 15g da gun. I did a review on Instagram. It's my favourite gun. I use it heaps and it never plays up. The air blower button and the light come in handy. The tip is unreal. It's a great gun
Just got a 15ga DA and it hisses the whole time it is hooked up to hose. Is that common for these guns? My other guns don't annoyingly hiss at me throughout the project unless I have an air leak at the connection or something of course
I got a bunch of nails but I don't know the names of the nails I got I just know you can hit it with a hammer and it's a little shorter then two inches long.I'm hopping the nails I got can work for this nail gun, but I want to know what nail gun can use just about any nails and can put together wooden pallets ?
Great review guys. I've recently bought a compressor and 18ga nail gun. For a general hack like myself who just does stuff around home, what do you recommend my next purchases should be, 15 or 16ga? Will be used for general reno's and I've got a epic cubby house to build my daughter.
Michael D 50/50 on that. The 15g will have bigger head so arguably slightly better hold capacity but the 16g does a LOT of jobs. Bit of personal preference. (Mike)
Junk, just like the Dewalt PP nailers. Had nothing but issues after a month of use with the 18 gauge. Now, moving to an Omer 18.50, there is simply no comparison. Omer is in another category/level. Nonetheless, great review guys.

The Bostich 23g headless pin nailer is the ducks guts. Excellent positioning with the small nose. I’ll be upgrading all my air nailers to Bostich.

[Dwain] Interesting. Exact opposite feedback from another commenter below. Reckon you could have got a bad one? What sort of issues?
