Video documents the construction of a baby changing table that I decided to make. The design is mine. The Wood is furniture grade pine. The most important design element (besides safety) is the height of the table.
Please use furniture straps to secure childrens furniture to the wall to prevent toppling over by a curious sibling.
A lot of people are asking for plans with dimensions. The plans I made for this appear at the end of the video. I do not have the originals anymore. Thanks for watching.

Mike, I appreciate the comment. The changing table was made to match the style of an existing crib that I purchased. I can try to find the plans, but the computer that they were on crashed and is no longer there. I'll see what I can do to find the originals.

Dave, this piece is beautiful! I am a young finish carpenter in Maine, and would love to make this for my first child that's due this summer, I'm not sure if you were able to recover your plans from your crashed computer...if you did I would love a copy. This will be my first free standing piece! The majority of my work is fixed built ins!

Great work Dave. I'm looking for ideas to build a changing table for my first , due in may. This is the best I've seen so far. Did you use a wood conditioner before you stained it? The stain looks a little splotchy, but it could just be the low resolution on my phones. Thanks for the great idea.

Furniture grade pine. Clear coat was polyurethane. I don't remember which stain I used.
I generally do not choose pine for furniture, but in this case I was trying to match a crib that was purchased already.
How did you mount the top of the changing table? I see for the bottom you used 3 support boards.

The only plans I have are the ones at the end of the video. I'll look this weekend and if I still have them I'll message you and send via email.

I checked a lot of handbooks with woodworking plans. Instructions from woodprix are the best I think.
