Heath was so charismatic in an evil way and he was actually FUNNY. Joaquin’s joker was great as far as the drama and build to insanity but it falls apart for me in the final act when he’s on the show talking to DeNiro the dialogue is weak and sounds very corny when he claims he’s a “mentally ill loner”
@@xpapagi0rgi0x56 I can see why. Joaquin was great capturing the pain, I think it was more Todd Phillips writing weaker dialogue compared to Nolan’s writing.
@@johnrey1021 agree it felt like a mental illness propaganda PSA. Throughout that entire movie it felt like it was a guy in a soft world impersonating Joker and not the actual Joker lol. There was no inclination of charisma or intelligence especially at the end like you said.
Just brilliant acting and a good piece. However one of his best acting scenes where he is the most frightening and highlights his sadism is when he kidnaps and kills that batman lookalike and makes that video of it.

Watched this movie as a kid looking up to batman then grew up to realize the joker was right about our society.
Batman is fighting to keep the status quo of the corrupt city , The Joker is actually fixing the problem
