This is the assembly of my Etihad A380. I bought this kit on Ebay. The decals were available on Ebay and made by GioDecals.

Hello! I bought today the model Airbus a 320 Eithad and I want to know what is the original colour of fuselage?
@@bogdanamarioarei1005 Hi man, so I‘m of course not an expert with what colors the airlines really use, I can only recommend you the mixture, which I used at my model😄 you can also take a look into the Revell instructions, there you also find a mixture, which is quite good, you only wont get that golden finish…
@@zockerj What about beige metallic colour? Is this the right colour? In the instructions manual I saw the K colour : white , orange and aluminium metallic.These colours will be mixed in the right proportions to obtain the right colour.I don't have an airbrush how can I paint the model? If I let the fuselage white is a problem and I paint the wings and the rest of the parts?
@@zockerj I managed to finish the model Airbus a 320 Etihad airways I have chosen the right colour and the model is good.

I made one of those kits before for an A380 it was an utter disaster! I have so much admiration for how much skill you had to build it.
This is just a great masterpiece. The amount of detail and concentration you put into this is amazing!

Truly great build. You have improved a lot. And you got the wing angle right, so the engines do not tocate (or are near) the ground, which is a notorious problem with this kit. For your next videos though, correct this: it is GRIT with a t, not grid 😊 Also, leave the text parts a bit longer because sometimes they go too fast and are difficult to read and you have to go back so you can read them completely.

LOVE LOVE this model and the Masterful Model Maker who put it together. But what I CANNOT comprehend is that Airbus has ALREADY DISCONTINUED THE A380!?!? It was made ONLY between '07 and last year....2021!!

I Especially like the colors you put on those engines, it is Truly Top Notch stuff!! But the aft fuselage and vertical stabilizer livery is Really something else, Thanks for posting the color usage!! When I do come around to building a couple of civil A/C ... I going to look at those engine details of Yours!!! Also thanks for showing (sorta) how to clean those cockpit windshield and the rest the A/C!

Hi mate, thank you so much! Glad I could help you with it😁 but keep in mind, if youre building an A380, to look at the engine option. For example Lufthansa uses the RR option, as well as some others! (If you want to see the painting of RR Trent 900 I recommend you my ANA A380 video)✅

@@zockerj As of my 'girls'.....Yes it was a BA A380...... British Airlines ( or Big. Ass. ) A380. Saw it as I was driving on freeway....it was the Only B.A. plane coming in at the time...."Hah, That's Got to be their plane!"

Proper model-making. Also there’s no slagging off Revell like a lot of others - they aren’t the best kits for sure, but clearly it’s what you make of it. Literally.

Decals are mostly bought online, Ebay, JoyDecals or Drawdecals are the sites I mostly use.

Amazing. Love the mosaic pattern.
Spent last August-September building that with "United for wild life" decals with many colorful animals. Very thin landing gear, landing bays are not aligned with the main axis both left right and up/down, overall appalling fit, in particular belly is a mess and that huge gap between engines and wings - you can clearly see in this video; thick, shallow panel lines - nearly impossible to highlight them, etc. etc. If you watch from 1 meter though - the result is beautiful )) Looking forward to complete fantastic 747-8 from Zvezda with Iron Maiden decals this summer. They will complement each other well
What AN outstanding job! I love putting models together but I have never been able to make one look at all like yours. For an all clear cockpit window in several pieces. how do you glue them without getting glue all over the clear plastic?
Thank you so much😁 I used Mr Hobby Cement S, thats a super thinn glue, which flows into all the gaps etc. no mess👍

Paintwork is pure art!!
On Boeing airplanes, the wheel wells are painted white. Obviously they get dirty very quickly.
Engine fan blades are unpainted bare metal
Interior of engine cowling usually zinc chromate primer (lime green)
Exhaust 'cones' are unpainted metal (they get very hot)
Parts should be removed from sprues with a sharp knife, not twisted off to avoid damage
Small parts should be removed from sprues prior to painting so they get painted evenly
Apply decals first, then clear coat. That hides decal film and seals them from damage
Great job, though!!

@@zockerj well because of u i have a747 -8, and a 777-300 in my hands waiting for photo etch, and russian tiger decals for 747, and new Zeeland hobbit 2 with smog decals for 777. Will keep in touch.

Thank you very much!😄 yes, I only put the decals on. Later I sprayed clear varnish over them, that they are not that fragile anymore and harder👀

ive already built this kit in airbus house livery and it was awesome! (not including putty and sanding and primer and airbrush)
Good video, not fast-forward, as some videos, so you can actually follow the building process. Revell kits have come a long way since they became Revell/Germany. If I have one complaint with their kits is the should cast all landing gear in white metal. The plastic is too fragile for a kit this size.
