I think it looks pretty good, but they still need to improve on how planes look, i find it tends to get confused when the plane presents a low profile, making it "disappear". And that's with DLAA, so no upscaling.
Nice info, I switched to the latest driver and even tried the settings you showed in the video. If you want better FPS, only choose the "Latest" Model Preset and "Use the 3D application setting" for Super Resolution. If you choose DLAA instead, you're not specifically using DLSS with Performance benefits, but you're then just using another type of Anti-Aliasing. The DLSS option in game will act as DLAA if you chose DLAA in the NVIDIA App. If you didn't choose DLAA then the option in game will just be using the new DLSS version along with the different quality presets as usual. Hope this helps!
Not bad, but I would be happier if Gaijin learned how to efficiently load the game from an HDD and how to optimize RTX because the game performance is extremely bad, especially for how mediocre it looks most of the time.
I would pick the one that gives you enough FPS. But higher is always going to give you a better image since it’s not having to upscale a lower resolution.
We need Reshade like Settings for War Thunder, like More Tonemapping and LUA options on the Post FX screen, ive been using Reshade even if its banneable cause its the only way to make the game look good imo
How do you stop your WT Videos from turning more crispy when uploading? I started randomly recording some Games recently too and while my Recordings look fine when i upload them to YT the Quality really drops and theres often Scenes where it gets crispy and then back to normal but in my recording it looks fine
@@DawgIVLife Hi thanks for the reply, where do i set the bitrate? Is it at the Encoder Settings with the Rate Control? I have that set on constant QP, should i change that to the bitrate thing?
@@DàDūdūxD If your using OBS Settings>Output>Recording>Encoder Settings> Rate Control = Constant Bitrate >Bitrate = Try 20,000 Larger the number bigger the file size but the quality is better.

What do you guys think? I want to see how other rigs react to these new DLSS settings

I did not know you could change dlss version in app, great info! Super impresse3d with how it looks now :D

Does it matter which DLSS option you choose in-game when you already have chosen the override option in Nvidia App?

have you noticed any freezes and stutters when using dx12 with and without RT?
At the start yes but it has gotten better
im glad nvidia users finally got a good app thats comparable to AMD's driver app

Pretty sure Nvidia filters already works for the game which is just reshade
HDR on OLED also looks nice.
@ yes, if you have Nvidia GPU, and doest have that many options tho :) Gaijin could spend some GE and get an Art Team :P
@ ah yeah, you mind giving me yours? lol

It is your bitrate higher motion you will need to increase your bitrate if your recording on OBS try something around 20,000 kbps

@@DawgIVLife ok thanks im trying it out right now
Hey, what kind of monitor are you running or what are the specs for it?
1440p 155hz
@@DawgIVLife What is the brand and model?
What about DLSS - Native? For the past 3 days I’ve run the game with DLSS Overwrite and DLSS Native.
Native just means its rendering the game at the resolution you have your game set to, but you still get all of the benefits of DLSS like anti-aliasing
Minus the upscaling. DLSS native gives better and cleaner picture, but not a performance boost compared to letting it also upscale.
@@A_Larsen That’s what I’ve tought. It uses DLAA for better antialias. I will try using quality preset and see the difference.
Depends on your hardware. If you have like 150 - 200 fps with "Native", you don't need to upscale.....
Why does he say nevidia and assept?
Heh English hard!
Does this require Direct 12 to turn on. Mine wont switch to "latest" (im on 11)
Well I have the same Q
It worked tbh but with dx12
Can I access it by dx11 ?
Thanks 🎉❤❤
I have not tried it on DX11 but I assume it has to be DX12
im an air rb player and dlss was not worth it, lets see now
There isn't a benefit to be found on this earth that will get me to download their God forsaken app again.
I mean unless you manually update drivers.
@@DawgIVLife I do indeed, I even keep a couple versions in case I need to rollback.
It isn't exactly rocket science, especially in the realm of PCs.
I cant acess the " DLSS overwrite"
If you have over a RTX 20xx card if its not showing up after you install the new drivers you might have to reinstall the NVidia app
He mentions it in the vid. It worked for me try it out.
@@DawgIVLife i tried doing a reinstall, but its still unsupported on my end. is there anything i have to delete first before i try reinstalling?
@@CrispyMuffin2 under graphics tab on the Nvidia app hit the 3 vertical dots near all your games and hit refresh. See if that fixes it.
@@DawgIVLife it tells me to "use the 3D application setting " and i dont find it
AFAIK DLSS 4 only works for RTX 40 series
DLSS 4.0 is for all RTX GPUs, The only thing that 40 series has is Frame Generation
@@DawgIVLife My mistake, thanks for the correction
to me FXAA HQ is best looking
