there was that scene in Liar Liar when he was harrasing his own witness and said "YOU STUFFED HER LIKE A THANKSGIVING TURKEY" and then he suddenly starts gobbling, probably the scene that makes me laugh the most, he is a genius of comedy

I love the Grinch moment when he flawlessly performs the tablecloth trick and goes back to knock everything off the hard way. That scene never fails to crack me up. The Ron Howard bit is hilarious, but I love the tablecloth trick.
That one is my all time favorite one!!!
When Ace has a spear in his leg and asks his companion to toss him a spear and it lands in his other leg. That scene always makes me laugh.

Sad he retired from us but cannot blame him. Physical comedy just as professional contact sports is very taxing. Consider also the amazing range of characters he played from slag stupid to dangerously brilliant stupid to crestfallen and heartbroken with perfection. Jim gave 1000% in everything he did wouldn't you say⁉️ His retirement to do as he sees fit well earned. His place is up for sale north of here. He is absolutely bowing out.

Jim Carrey was one of my first celebrity crushes when I was a child, because of Ace Ventura and Stanley Ipkiss. When I saw him as Robotnik, it was like that crush never went away. Whenever I’m feeling down, his comedic work always cheers me up and makes me feel a lot better. It just goes to show that growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional 😉

Ace Ventura, When Nature Calls is my fave Jim Carrey Movie ever and one of my all time fave scenes is when he's driving as though the road is not paved and then the camera pans out and we see that he is in fact driving in a cement road... So classic... I always do it too, much to the annoyance of my passengers...

My favourite Jim Carrey film is The Truman Show with Eternal Sunshine at an immediate second. Since neither of them are here (which is fair since their both more serious) my favourite would probably have to be The Mask. And you're right about the Oscar scene being the funniest. Everything is great-From the obviously great performance from Carrey to the more subtle details like Dorian fixing his hair when the fake audience pops up. Carrey is truly my favourite actor.

One thing about "Liar Liar" though, while Fletcher wasn't able to lie he was still able to cover up the truth. Like after he beats himself up in the bathroom, when asked about who did this to him he describes himself to a T making people think that someone fitting the description he gives beat him up instead of saying to the judge, "I went mad, Your Honor, and beat the shit out of myself!!!"
