The idea is genius, but the tech seems like it has a long way to go. I’m not willing to share my earbud with anyone. I will wait until I can wear both earbuds and they will just automatically translate what people are saying around me. I work in an environment where multiple languages are being spoken, and I just want to know what is being said.
@ like I said, the tech is a great idea, but it’s too new and undeveloped, but we are getting closer. I can’t wait till there is that breakthrough, revolutionary device that is simple, affordable, and effective.
you have one earbud for yourself and the other person, you never have to share yours, you can always keep it in your own ear. Thought this would be common sense.
@ No kidding, you don’t say! So now I have to put a dirty earbud back in the case, and give it to someone else when I’m trying to translate? I think you missed the point and therefore it’s you that lacks common sense.
@@nunyabusiness4226 you don't have to share them at all use your brain and stop talking to people in a way you wouldn't talk to your mother. You can use buds and show the transcription on your phone
What's the point of you need the phone? Why spend the money on the buds? Are there any that you can just wear and hear what people are saying around you?
On Amazon lots of consumers complaining about having to purchase an app/subscription for Y113. That should be something mentioned.

Simultaneous translation instead of sequential.

I need Thai offline multi people speaking because my wife is from Thailand and the Internet is low.
My wife works in a place with multiple country personnel.
Can she wear one bud and just listen to what they are saying?

The need to work offline. That’s where the con is.
You speak soooo low and soft😢
