sorry for late reply....Angles and coordinates are two different things. Angles will tell you the direction of an object whereas coordinate will tell you pin point location of an object. Because magnetic needle points towards (Magnetic) North direction. So we take that as our reference line.

Kindly go through the question once again. By using the Fore Bearings, a traverse has been plotted and then interior angles were calculated. At which part you felt that an assumption has been made that bearings and angles are the same..?
