These sounds are phenomenal. Your first video really sold me on the Muse. As soon as they are back in stock im going to pick one up and buy your preset pack (ive never bought a sound pack in my life). Incredible work.
@@limbicbits My muse arrived today and an hour after getting it set up I picked up your sounds. Awesome work. They put a smile on my face. Thank you! ❤ ⚡️
Thanks for your support! If you like, send me a link of what you've been doing with it. Also, a volume 2 will most likely follow somewhere in Q1 2025 :).
Thanks! I still need to check out the A6 again. My first experience with the Andromeda in a shop decades (?) ago was negative but I am sure, that there is so much potential in that one that I just didn't grasp at that moment (in my journey as a sound designer and synth nerd)
I agree. Andromeda is a dream synth but risky due to unobtainium voice chips. Moog Muse is the closest successor in Sound, and has a lot of great features.
Your presets are always fantastic man …next level, and this is certainly by far the best I’ve heard the Muse sound… that said I don’t think it sounds very good lol…it’s not BAD by any means, and it’s a nice synth for the price , but it sounds very generic to me even the filter…. I had it for a month and returned it… but one size does not fit all.:.to my ears I think the Trigon sounds way better with way more mojo…ymmv.
Great designs, thanks for putting in the time. I've been working with one this week in my dayjob and found it powerful but incredibly underwhelming so it's good to hear someone trying to stretch and flex it a bit!
I found the factory presets also a bit too focused on live / band musicians. That is not a bad thing and for that purpose the factory library works super well. But at the same time this conservative selection of presets in my opinion also left out a big part of the potential of this synth. Might lead to a false first impression. Give it some time.
@@limbicbits thanks, and yes 100% my take after 4 days. I switched to Matriarch/Super Gemini briefly to get wilder or more aggressive sounds but that kinda made me realise that I'd been enjoying the Muse for different reasons so I have gone back to it. One weird takeaway has been how much it reminds me of the CS-80 in the tactility and depth in very short control moves...depth is the over-arching thing that I keep realising it has
I really love the sounds of the oscillators, and the sounds you’ve made. Beautiful stuff. How do you feel about the Muse after making patches? Do you like the workflow? Satisfied with the sounds you got? Any other poly synths you think compare more favourably? I’m having a hard time thinking of any that have the raw beauty this synth seems capable of.
I continue liking the workflow a lot and also the overall sound. It even was close to be a permanent synth in my studio but it just takes up too much space. So maybe one day, but not today :)
@@limbicbits You must have some incredible hardware to send this thing back. The beauty and impact of these sounds are some of the best I’ve heard. Hats off to you.
Not sure if I’m spoiled with all the synths I own but this synth still does nothing for me. I wish it did, I love the look and vibe of it. Thanks for the sounds!
Have you tried it yourself Synthking? I have the Muse, and consider it an awesome addition to all my other synths. It's got it's own vibe going on. It's basically a polyphonic Matriarch with presets and more flexibility (while losing some features as well, obviously).. It's easy to get amazing sounds out of it :)
@@payt01 I haven’t yet no. I do want to get my hands on one though. I live in NYC and I have been visiting all the music shops here hoping to spot one but nothing yet. @@synthkingmusic Right.. I now that every day since I got mine I've been playing with it for hours.. lol. .It's like a time machine.. you sit down, and all of a sudden a few hours have passed by. I should make some music with it sometime soon :) I guess it's not for everyone though. Anyway can't wait to see how you like it in person :)
I've used the same sequence on the first MOOG Muse demo. Maybe you know it from there? Other explanation would be that my mediocre playing doesn't allow for complex melodies so I am sure I haven't reinvented the wheel there, either 😂
Nice sounds! gives me hope. I just recieved the Muse and was not really impressed. But early days. Do you happen to find that the Sequencer slows down when using the menu? I feel that whichever processor they used in this thing, is not powerful enough.
@@limbicbits I found that when you run unison, and the screen shows the active voices at the top (or any other page that is not showing static information) , it creates a random strumming effect, if i change the screen to patch select, then its gone, so i guess either i have a problem , or the processor can not cope, its the same with the sequencer window on, when playing chords, there is a fast strumming effect. Again it goes when i switch to the patch page.
@@alexdaniel5030 Sounds to me a bit like you're getting a MIDI loop. Could it be possible that you are using a DAW and have USB I/O (or MIDI I/O) activated on your MOOG Muse at the same time? Try to deactivate clock send on your MUSE
Unplugged all usb and Midi , no difference. Running a sequence with unison on , and constantly creates a very fast strumming effect and seems laggy. Especially when the screen is animated. Wrote to Moog music. See if they have a fix or the unit is bad.

Will it be a vst editor?
