Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to stop and say hi to my son today outside of Thunder Mountain! He was absolutely star struck and couldn’t stop talking about his good luck. You made his entire trip ❤️
It was my pleasure 💚💙
There may be more expensive queues, more fully themed queues, more state of the art queues, but for whatever reason this is my single favorite Disney queue ever. It’s just so full of little gags and references, like a scavenger hunt
Chris! That was super fast! 😂 it was amazing see you in action and thanks for hanging out in line and riding the attraction with us. We had a blast!
I love those movie posters! The Scroogiest Millionaire is a spoof on one of my all time favorite movies, The Happiest Millionaire. It’s a fantastic movie starring Fred MacMurray, Leslie Ann Warren, and John Davidson. The song Fortuosity is in this movie, which is where they got the name for the shop in Disneyland. There’s a fun fact for you!
Lavender blue dilly dilly
I love the ghosts in the mirror. What an AWESOME detail for us older kids who know who they are.
So fun! The Scroogiest Millionaire is a spoof on the Happiest Millionaire, fun show. Thanks for showing us the fun we can expect at Disneyland.
Great information! Did you notice, in the 70’s section where Mickey is on the dance floor, there’s the golden record to the far right on the wall. If you look at the logo for the recording label, it’s G-Force Records, a reference to Rockin Roller Coaster.
I was there for opening day and tried to get the virtual queue but couldn’t so I bought the lightening lane and asked to go through the regular line so I could see all of this good stuff!!
My brother had the Mickey Mouse Disco album, I totally remember dancing to that one a lot! It's still at my parents' house. So fun!
Love this video, and wanted to add two more fun facts. Outside of the theater there is a map/drawing of toontown and you can see the beanstalk growing out of the ceiling and through the hills. Also the condiments are from Begorra Farms, a nod to Patrick Begorra from The Little Man of Disneyland. 😊
Love this. 💚💙💚💙
So excited to see your coverage...I have ignored everything until this one!!! Thank you PPP 💚💙💯 Thank you for the positivity!!! We are All important and amazing! Indeed!
So cute! So fun! So exciting! 🎉 love MMRR!
👏👏😊😊 we love it! We’ve been so excited for the secrets revealed for this ride since it opened! Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos!
The names in the book at 12:29 are the cast of Mickey’s Christmas Carol. Alan Young as Scrooge, Wayne Allwine as Mickey Mouse, Hal Smith as Goofy, Will Ryan as Willie the Giant and Pete, Eddie Carrol as Jiminy Cricket, etc
You missed the "Earn $999.99!" ad which was from Runaway Brain and below it the ad for the Ajax Ghost Exterminators from Lonesome Ghosts, the reference to the Spectrum Song with the 3D glasses that were mentioned to have been invented by Prof. Ludwig Von Drake, Doofus Drake and Webby's appearance in the Feisty Ducks poster, Goldie O'Gilt, Magica DeSpell and Launchpad McQuack in the Scroogiest Millionaire poster, Begorra Orchards being a reference to Patrick Begorra the leprechaun of Disneyland and Haggis being of Glomgold quality is a reference to Flintheart Glomgold
I have been so excited for this video!! Woo hoo!!
Thanks for taking us through the que!
Amazing facts. Thanks for taking the time to show it all!
That is really cool and so fun to see all the creative things they came up with from all of their movies.
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but did I see a hidden Mickey Mouse in the big drum? Another one I might have seen was a square Mickey in the big skeleton key. Sorry If I'm repeating something someone else might have already mentioned.
Thanks for the fun video. 👍🏻
Thanks for taking a selfie with me while filming this video!
Wow this was the best! Things we would never know were there and so much fun to see. Thank you!!! ❤
@Provost Park Pass In the drum, if you look closely, you can see a hidden Mickey. It’s in the pattern of where the drum was hit.
this ride's queue has to be my top favorite ride queue, since it has so many funny things to look at as well as the history of mickey mouse
I was there this morning! I was on boarding group 18! I took my time in the queue to look at things! It was empty so I wasn’t rushed! Thanks for the video Chris!
3:01 The Happiest Millionaire. The reluctant part goes to The Reluctant Dragon
My husband and I enjoyed meeting you as we celebrated our 40th year together! And your tips helped us enjoy our stay at the Grand California! We hope you had a fabulous trip celebrating 100 and the new ride- we certainly did!
Thank you!! Love your vids
I have Mickey's mousercise. The OG album.. we also had a kid's jigsaw puzzle of that album cover when I was little.. loved that record!
This was awesome!!! Thank you so much.
Love a goofy movie reference
Thanks so much for another great video! I can’t wait to ride!!
Love all the details in this attraction!! Loved this video 🎉🎉
There was a couple who used to do tours for Cast Members at Walt Disney World explaining all of the hidden treasures in the theming in the different parks. Thank you so much for sharing the details that so many people miss rushing to get on the attraction!
That was awesome totally enjoyed the video keep up the awesome work
This was such a great video! I love all the little details! So excited to go on this.
My husband Ryan and I will be coming at the end of August 2023. Hope to see you there. We love watching your videos. They are so helpful when we plan our magical holiday to Disneyland. We are from BC Canada ❤️. We are HUGE FANS 😀😀😀😀
That que looks awsome
15:40. When they added a bucket of cotton next to the bucket of cotton candy 😂
Thank you for these exciting tidbits. I like hearing about all of the details that the Imagineers put into the attractions.
Wow what a lineup!!
So cool meeting you in Disneyland! Love your videos! Keep at it!!!
Hey Chris, thank you for showing me all of this! Those posters with all of those references are just hilarious and I can't get enough of it. What else really sticks out to me is that bulletin board with all of the original props from that year those Disney events happened. I look forward to trying out M&M's Runaway Railway on my next Disneyland vacation.
AS ALWAYS you are amazing friend!!!! Wonderful job ❤️
Thank you Chris for running this down! Always going to miss these kind of things with goo-getters of a group, and surprising them with your facts always blows there minds! Thank YOU ALWAYS CHRIS, I wish to meet you someday!
I love your video's of the que's. Very informative and interesting. Thank you
That is so fun. Love all the hidden gems. Thanks, when I am so thick, I would have missed most of them.
Oh, glad to hear you like the movie "Rocket Man" too. I stayed at the hotel next to the air field where they filmed it.
Thanks for keeping us in the know.
It was great to meet you on Saturday!
16:25 HOLY MOLY they really went all out on that Popcorn with hidden Mickey's, Minnie's, and other characters. Mind BLOWN!
Great Vlog!! Thanks Chris! ❤❤❤ PPP!
Yay I always enjoy these type of trivia videos!🔥 I just rode the ride yesterday and I was amazing!
The BBQ sauce also says it's smoke tree flavor which is a reference to Smoke Tree Ranch which Walt used to frequent as a relaxing getaway back in the day! He also used to wear their emblem on his tie so often that you can see it on him in the partner statue.
My family was very lucky to be able to ride the attraction. It was so much fun! Next time we come back, I will be able to show them the fun hidden details you showed us! Thank you so much!
The ghost mirror 🪞 ✨️ 👻 is my favorite 😍.
Thanks for the video, Chris! We were lucky enough to go on it on Saturday. Even saw you in the park, but my husband didn't tell me until you had already passed us, haha. "Isn't that the guy you watch on RUclips?" 🤣 You caught some details that we missed, excited to go see them next time! 😁
I like the Meeska Mooska reference to the Mickey Mouse Club cartoon song but all the detail is amazing.
So very interesting facts…Thanks Chris 👍🇬🇧
Thank you. I almost didn't want to watch this video until I experience it myself. I'm weird like that. First time I ever went to Galaxy Edge I tried to go in dry as possible. I didn't want to know or see anything.
Ok CHRIS, this ride has only been open for a few days and you have secrets reveal already, but Smugglers Run been open since May of 2019 and Rise December of 2019, COME ON WE NEED THOSE VIDEOS, lol.
I still have my Mickey Disco Album from 1979...
Ever since I followed your plan for rope drop, I'm a legit fan. You're the man Chris, love these videos. can't wait for you to do the actual ride
I know it's a regular key in the beanstalk area but I thought Kingdom hearts. Mainly because I think Mickey uses a similar golden key in kingdom hearts 2. I think at least
Thank you for sharing all the great in depth details in the que. Can you imagine making those popcorn kernels to resemble the characters?! Ha! So clever!
Thank you for the video! I live in Ohio and won’t be able to go to DL anytime soon. I love these walk throughs- it lets us experience Disney with you!
You are so welcome!
A replica of The Mouseketeer poster would be a great souvenir to have.😁
That queue, that queue, that queue is on Fire!!!!!!
It was so nice to meet you earlier👍
I’m talking about them!
Love this attraction so much! There are so many details and Easter Eggs hidden all through out that makes it so much fun to spot out each time! Also, we spotted an Easter Egg to the Mickey Mouse short Runaway Brain inside of the ticket booth outside. If you look inside, there is a newspaper ad that says “Earn $999.99 for a Mindless Day’s Work”, which is the same one that Mickey reads inside of the short. 😃
Great video. 😊 Did you notice the hidden Mickey on the drum head? I'm sure you did, your so good at spotting hidden Mickeys. I love how disney makes it impossible to see everything so every time you discover something new.
It is the Happiest Millionaire, 1967, Fred McMurry.
Love your videos so much! Hope you're still there next week so that maybe we might see you again! 😊
It was great meeting you Chris on Saturday. Love this queue and the videos you produce!
It was my pleasure
That was soooooMMMMMMeeee aMaZiNg detail! Pluto's Christmas Tree is one of my favorites. I still have the 1977 New Mouseketter's album + Mickey Mouse 50 Happy Years book I bought with my own allowance. ($5 a week) LOL! Disneyland/Imagineering pulled out all the STOPS on this one! Can't wait to ride it. Yodelberg is a sCrEaM! I love the Mickey Shorts. Thanks for the detailed walk through. Michael T. Houston, TX.
So cool to see the Mousercise and Mickey Mouse Disco records. I have them both.
There is another lonesome ghost reference in the ticket booth. The add the ghosts read! And Begorra orchards, in reference to Begorra who gave up his orange grove in exchange for a permanent home in Disneyland.
Oh I love the Goofy Movies! That's awesome they put that in there.
Toon town wasn't open when I was there last year.
Fun video! I have that Mickey Disco album!
The happiest millionaire is my favorite disney film
That is so cool. Mickey Mouse Disco was the first record I ever owned. How fun is the que. ❤️
The amount of detail on this ride is amazing. Disney has hit a major home run with this one.
Chris can you go over how to do the Mickey and Minnie Railroad virtual que? Thanks.
That’s funny! “Catsup” is what they call Ketchup in Mexico.
You could say that the power outlet at 14:10 was SPUD-ering! :)
Oh my gosh. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i like this video😊
So the Haggis "Glomgold Quality" is a reference to Flintheart Glomgold, Scrooge McDuck's rival.
The total on the cash registers when taken together is 11.18.1928 which is the date Steamboat Willie was released.
The Scroogiest Millionaire is the Happiest Millionaire. Funny movie from 1967 with Fred MacMurray and currently in Disney Plus!!
You missed my favorite, the backside of the Prince and the Pauper sign
At 3:03, I believe it is the Happiest Millionaire instead of The Scroogiest Millionaire! 😉 Also great video, the more you know!😊
Thanks!
So great meeting you in person today at the Park with my wife Elizabeth!! Thank you for such a great Vlog!
Wow much more involved than Walt Disney World!
Thank you Chris for the video and your work. Just in case you missed it..the "Smoke Tree' BBQ sauce must be an omaige to Smoke Tree Ranch where the Disney's had a house.
Hope to see you Feb 7,8 or 9th at DL
Provost Park Pass 100!!! 🎉🎉
Unfortunately we only did the lightning line since we failed on virtual queue tix, so we are looking fwd to exploring the VQ line next time to see all these details, thanks for sharing!
Hi Chris, I paused your video at 6:33 when you were at the Bass Drum and the black marks on the drum look like a hidden mickey! If you squint you can make it out!
The Ketchup and Catsup (and all of them) dispensers say “Begorra Orchards” which is a reference to Patrick Begorra, the Little Man of Disneyland book! On the BBQ sauce the “classic Smoketree Flavor” is referring to Walt’s Palm Springs home in the Smoketree neighborhood that he once had (sold for DIsneyland money!) The symbol on Walt’s tie he often wore was the Smoketree brand.
One of the lonesome Ghosts - Howls is in the Haunted Mansion and also appeared on the - Thrilling Chilling Sounds from Haunted Mansion. The Ghosts returned in a NEW MICKEY cartoon also
At 15:43 in the conconsession display, I believe that I spotted a hidden Micky @ the base of the pretzel stand.
I don't know how shocking these were, but they sure are fun.
I love that you’re back in California now! 😄😊
I can not wait to ride Mickey & Minnie's runaway railway in September
