- This one is a polish version of a very known, german song, sung during World War 2.
It holds no historical significance as I'm the author of text and audio.
And I pinky promise it's not political, youtube please :(((
I uploaded it in 2019 but soon after that it got taken down, let's hope it won't happen again, feel free to reupload it wherever you like!

@Keiki Haniyasushin Pre-war Poland was very multiethnic (+/- 69% polish citizens were Poles). In Trawniki-camp were Ukrainians with polish citizenship and volksdeutsch's (who has german ancestors and declares german nationality).
Germans were trying to make up a SS legion for polish higlanders (they called them nation "gorralenvolk"; "góral" means "highlander" in polish...) but idea of serving on German forces wasn't popular - less then 20 men start service.
Ethnic citizens from Śląsk and Pomorze have received german citizenship - if you refuse, they send you to a death camp.
After polish campaign, german demand to draft all polish prewar policemen - death penalty for officers, who will refuse.
Still wondering they didnt make a polish puppet state

Pisząc "poprawioną wersję" chodziło mi o uzupełnienie polskich napisów i lepsze angielskie tłumaczenie.

Instrumental version? It had a Good intro but the Lyrics complete destroyed it
The song sounds just wrong for a speaker of Polish - the accents are on the wrong syllables so you can hear the Polish words which don't sound the way Polish people pronounce them. My other negative thought about it is the following: the other versions of this song were created and sung by people who took part in the war on the German side - by the Narva Batallion (Estonia) by the Charlemagnne Division (France), Viking division (multinational) and by many other nationalities. There were smaller attachments formed by nationalities which seem quite outlandish to think of as partipating on Nazi side such as Indians, Tatars or Albanians. All those people volunteered to fight in Waffen SS units. Indeed there were many nations who wanted this new 'great' world - but you can't find any Polish people among them! We never voluntarily formed even a smallest unit of the Nazi armed forces. The only Poles who fought in Wermacht were people of Polish origin living in the territory of the III Reich, recognised by German authorities as German citizens and therefore conscripted into German Army. In the real world Polish people never sang this song, never identified with the ideas represented by Waffen SS. This song doesn't represent anybody who lived in Poland at that time. While the other versions have some historical value, this one is just a creation of some far right morons who don't understand history. Some nations had their own motives for joining the Germans - and I understand and respect that - like the Estonians or Latvians who just wanted some help to get rid of the communists. Polish people had no reason to support the Nazis and in fact they never did. Pre-war Poland wasn't occupied by communists, people could enjoy democratic system, could use their own language - there was nothing we wanted from the Nazis. When they came they took all this away and in return brought death and destruction. Nobody wanted to be part of such a world. @@heroes1945 Many people who lived in Ukraine in those times were of mixed marriages so many of them could identify as Ukrainians even though their surnames sounded Polish. Think about the earlier history - Bogdan Chmielnicki was a son of a Polish nobleman but his mother was Ukrainian and as a result he chose to support the Ukrainian cause starting a war against his father's country. Thus having a Polish sounding surname doesn't prove anything - their fathers could have been married to Ukrainian women and their children chose to fight for what seemed to be good for Ukrainian people.

You see, if Piłsudski had lived the polish german conflict probably would have been resolved. AH and Piłsudksi were making genuine diplomatic progress.
@@Blackdeathgaming-yv1kk the entire reason for invading Eastern Europe was to acquire farmland the entire goal of Lebensraum. Farmland is wasted if you have to feed the people you just conquered.
@@nathon1942 maybe actually read mein kampf. Lebensraum was not the primary reason. Is a myth based on drang Nach ost which was simply German settlement in the east which was not an NSDAP thing but had existed for centuries. The term merely meant settling in the east like the volga germans. It's only during the war that Germany started thinking it had a right to be compensated in land in the east due to all the deaths they suffered.b
AH. Admired pilsudski and for a time considered getting Poland as a strong ally against the Soviets.
Primary reason for war in the east was definitely not lebensraum and the closest to the idea of levensraum came to exist during the war and not before it. And that source isn't even an official document or official NSDAP publication so the source isn't even 100%reliable.
The only thing in his book that hints to levensraum is that he expected the Soviets to collapse on themselves and that then maybe in the chaos it would have been possible to claim land.
I haven't gotten to that part yet but I had seen someone talk about that part before. When I get there I'll qoute it for you.
@@Blackdeathgaming-yv1kk fun little fact, I have. Lebensraum is most certainly mentioned prior to the war it’s not stated as the word lebensraum but the idea of it is there. Just like trying to find the word blitzkrieg in any Second World War era German documentation.

Some parts of text, 4th to 8th stanza, are taken from real song called "Nasze Bataliony" sung by National Party members, but the rest is my creation

This is only fan song. There were no polish SS because as you said, we were considered as subhumans. There was actually small group of polish nazis who wanted to support Hitler in 1939, but Germans decided to kill them all.
