My family fled Poland shortly after WW1 for the US. My grandfather was born in the US in 1920 about 16 months after his parents and siblings arrived. He fought the nazis for the US in the US Navy. As a 3rd generation polish American I’m still proud to hear this song.
A salute for those of my people and even family who faced the horrors of nazism and communism head on and stood strong through that to build a prosperous and patriotic nation that sticks to it's roots while conforming greatly to the ideas of today. Long live Polska!

Why I like Poland as a Pakistani Wladislaw Turowicz was a Polish who had helped form Pakistan Airforce Back in early 1950s. And after ww2 opted to join Pakistan on a 3 year contract with many other poles after he was stopped from entering his country which was under Communist Russia at that time. Instead he served Pakistan till his death in 1980. We are Indebted to him . Long live Poland and Pakistan. 🇵🇰 ❤️ 🇵🇱
