This is THE Batman most people came to love. From his second coming in the 70s, early 80s when Dennis O'Neal wrote and Neil Adams drew the reinvented Batman as a hard boiled, violent, man possessed.....from that came later the stories most are familiar with like Killing Joke, Dark Knight Returns etc......but this...THIS is where that Batman was truly given birth. Leaning into the fear and psychology after the fun and pulpy stuff of the 60s. We got the invention of Ras Al Ghul and Batmans real true love, Talia. We also got the reinvention of The Joker as a darker, more twisted character. THIS. THIS is what we see here....THE BATMAN. Penguin the gangster. A loud and greedy thug. The Riddler as a broken genius, not pulling funny faces but pulling Batmans strings. yyyeeeeEES!!! THIS IS THE BATMAN. Jus like Dennis turned the comics on its head, Reeves gives us that last shot. letting you know, he's turning this shit on its head !
I'll be 60 at the end of October, and I remember buying 10 cent Batman comic books and watching Adam West as Batman on tv during the '60's. That being said, I haven't been this excited about a Batman adaptation since I can remember. I thought The Dark Knight trilogy was moody and I loved the atmosphere, but it appears Matt Reeves is taking 'dark' to a whole new level. I cannot wait to see this in a theater. You guys rock, by the way. I love your sincere and genuine reactions. Keep it up!
You weren't wrong, although I would have liked to have seen more of him. I guess that was the nature of his character - staying relatively unseen and more of an effect-type villain. Nonetheless, incredible performance.
I just noticed that last part of the trailer, that batman was viewed upside down, like an actual bat that's about to come down on you when you see one in a cave or dark attic 😁👍🏽 The movie is just so cool! Can't wait for Blu ray!
Guilty. I still do think that the suit could have used some improvement (notably the cowl), but I’m more than happy to admit I’ve been wrong about the amazing potential this movie has. This trailer blew me away, and I can’t wait to see the film for myself.
@@marsayde1237 I think after seen batman from zack synder many fans weren't really hating the new batman, as much as they were scared of how DC would handle him in the movie because to be fair we didnt get good solid written movie about batman in years.
So glad people are warming up to this and the idea of Robert pattinson being batman. I remember all the backlash when it was first announced, but now people are excited to see him. Might be his way of finally moving past the whole twilight thing

finally saw it. unreal movie. such a realistic raw approach. batman got his ass kicked hard, he was vulnerable. no fancy gadets. a muscle car for the batmobile. loved it
Well I'm glad you liked it. Me personally I want my money back and less then half way into it I felt Batman's parents were the lucky ones that didn't have to watch anymore of this trash.

I love how Catwoman looks at Batman beating the thug and goes "My God".... in here head lol. This movie is showing us why enemies/common thugs fear batman, this part hasn't really been shown in the movies before to this exent. If you meet this batman while doing a crime.... you will shit your pants, get scared shitless and try to run away. This isnt the batman that you see and say "it's the Bat gem em!" No this the Batman that makes you want to give up and beg for surrender from the moment you see him. Ive been wanting to see Batman like this in theaters and he will finally be using detective skills?? Best batman movie ever.

I was really surprised at how good this movie was. It completely changed my perspective on Robert as an actor.
