Sunrise Cityscape Soundscape || The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas

Early in the morning we walked around the Austin Boardwalk. The cityscape was so beautiful!
For more information on the Boardwalk, construction began in 2012 and completed in 2014. According to AustinTexas.Gov, the project cost $28 million and features over 300 piers, 2,200 pre-cast concrete deck planks, ADA accessible pier and 36 cast bronze western-style belts. The belts are apart of Art in Public Places, a program of the Cultural Arts Division of the Economic Development Department. Featured on the bronze belts are song lyrics from well known Texas singers and songwriters.
