“Two polish guys hammering each other.” That is Bjorn, no doubt. 🤣🤣🤣
Two guys hammering each other - definetly Polish, it is like a national sport there ;)
I thought they didn't have that "problem" in Poland ;-) At least, PIS have done their best to make people of the same gender "hammering" each other as illegal as they can 😠
Faxe kondi is legendary:-)
And Jolly Cola 😊
@9:09 it's like a sail, it uses the Magnus effect to help move the ship.
9:17
Missing Denmark after seeing this video, moved to Florida 30 years ago. Have taken this ferry to Germany many times, both in car and train.
Well i think florida is not that bad trade ;).
@@Barracudian Florida is nice, but there is nothing like a warm summer day in Denmark.
Thank you for visiting Denmark. And yes, they are sailor ninjas on that boats..
9:00 That's a Flettner rotor. Utilizing the Magnus effect, it acts as a stabilizer and adds to the propulsion of the ship.
''Denmark is so flat''. Says Bjorn while looking at hills. As a Dutch person I could not relate to this comment at all. 🤣
To be fair, that part of Denmark is very flat
Hey, I live in Gedser, funny to see my daily commute from home to school in one of your vids! 😉👌🏻
Love the look your wife gives when you mention expensive shops! You should bring her into your reviews, I bet she would have some insights into things that you might consider unimportant. 😉
13:14 German Army blocking your Charging spot lol
With a PHEV!
Can you tell this from the number plates? And that it is a PHEV?
@@JohSno yes, Y- Plates
@@JohSno The Y plates are military plates in Germany and the E at the end stands for EV and PHEV vehicles. Since there are no EV station wagons in Germany, it can only be a PHEV. Looks like a Skoda Superb IV PHEV to me.
Danke for explaining lads, interesting to know.
That chimney's a Flettner Rotor! It works like a sail. Big fuel savings 👍
Thanks for taking time to test & report all kind of charging options. Appreciate it.
Bjørn, it’s a Rotor sail. Old technology to save fuel. Part of the green shift.
Yup, at 10:06 on the TV in the background there is a video animation explaining it; "Scandlines setzt auf windkraft".
Somehow works best when the wind is coming in perpendicularly, i.e. on north-south routes like this (west wind)
It is called "Flettner Rotor". Shall save some fossil fuel.
Loving this series
damn we need more of these europe roadtrips, they are so awesome, especially the wife is coming with you and seeing all that nice food
Faxe Kondi is the shit. Good like 7up, but unlike 7up you don't get tired of the taste.
Fun fact, Intercity Hotels are usually located near the station since it is the name of the German high speed train from the 70's and 80's and they are somehow affiliated with Deutsche Bahn afaik.
They were founded by the Deutsche Bahn to fill in a gap for train travellers. Similar to ionity that was founded by car manufacturers to fill in a gap for e-car tarvellers.
Kinda: if others don't do it, we do it to provide our customers a better experience.
There goal is to provide beds and meeting rooms near busy train stations. Targeted for short stays.
Smart choice to go via Gedser to Rostock. I just came down from Sweden last week, took the ferry from Rødbyhaven to Puttgarden and got stuck in traffic for hours between Neustadt/Holstein and Hamburg.
Thanks for this serious. Very entertaining.
Yes, and very serious 🤣
@@bjornnyland When we Germans try to write in English... Very seriös. :-)
What appears to you to be a "chimney" is actually a vertical rotor, using the Magnus effect for propulsion. 👍
Hi. Great that you are coming to Slovenia. Lake Bled is beautiful, but you should go to Postojna cave too. Have fun.
Oh Bjorn, we've almost met, we have been on vacation in Copenhagen with my wife the beginning of September :)
Lol, that wifey look at 3:14
Have a great time in Croatia!
Funny to see you moving around in Danish surroundings suddenly 🤔 😊
Faxe kondi FTW!
Best drink and you can get it without sugar and the taste is not different!
6:33 is like 800 meters from where I live 😅👌
Hope you enjoyed your trip!
4:56 stunning how empty this is. In California Tesla can't build superchargers fast enough to keep up with demand. Even the most rural superchargers are never empty even in the middle of the night.
That is a good thing, means the electricfuture is here
Don't think I've ever seen a studded tire in Denmark. I do own a set of snow chains but haven't used them for about 10 years.
Studded tires are rare in DK. Most of the time it´s a swedish or norwegian car visiting. And about Faxe kondi -there is a song ruclips.net/video/hojVgHzoZ1Y/видео.html
Don't think we are allowed to use studded tires in DK
@@GameOver556 mange tak.
There are crazy many Tesla’s en Denmark now. I had to give up waving 👋 to the others 😞
13:13 The license plate indicates a vehicle from the Bundeswehr/military.
Yes, you can tell from the Y at the front. And an electric vehicle due to the E at the end (either plug-in hybrid or BEV).
It's a flettner rotor sail
Will you visit Nikola Tesla's birthplace in Croatia? It's on the freeway on the high planes north of Zadar, a bit out of the way though... but not on Monday's, it's a museum.
I grew up in Gedser and my parents just moved back there last winter.
Too bad I wasn't near when you passed through.
The expensive shops made me laugh 😆👌
The look on her face, yes.
Yeah.. so funny.. the look on her face... Priceless! .. hahaha
Taro bubble tea is always the best
I use baby whips for the cabin cleaning but also for bugs on the front, works great👍👍😂
Faxe kondi ftw!
Q-Park parking is french, I always choose their locations when going to Paris. Good clean and safe parking, can be booked in advance, EV charging in some places.
3:19 "'Magasin du Nord' - is that French?"
Indeed... :)
Another great episode. Shame about that charging spot markings.
Public road parking is free for EVs in Copenhagen and you don't need to park at a charger to park for free..
Thank you for the tip :)
Some of the turist boats are actually electric. They slowly convert them one at a time.
Love the road trips ! keep it up
Enjoying following your road trip. Have the footwell lights and the under door lights been improved compared with the ones on the model 3 or are they still too dim? They look brighter on the video certainly.
I still can't believe you are comming to Slovenia and I won't be able to see you and the new model y
Hi Bjorn,
If you need info regarding Slovenia or info for chargers in Slovenia and Croatia, will be happy to support you.
Enjoy your trip 💪😎👍
Faxe kondi & Tuborg Squash ❤️
I'm from Rostock... Björn, other hotels have also charging stations... But not in many apps includet...
8:20 that 3 series😍
Faxe Kondi FTW. Isn't that the sports champagne invented by a fotball player back in the early 70's? I remember the taste is quite good!
Maybe you are thinking of an old Danish ad.
Back in the early to mid eighties, Jesper Olsen, then an Ajax (and later Man U) and Danish National footballer, was used as the face of an ad campaign to promote Faxe Kondi.
As for the origins, according to the Danish Wikipedia, Faxe Kondi was a drink developed in 1971 by Faxe Brewery in corporation with Danish basketball, handball and football players and a doctor by the name of Knud Lundberg.
You should come to Belgium and drive on our roads, that will really test your suspension... 😂
ROFL at the comment about the expensive shops and the look wifey then gave to the camera :D
Thanks for doing Sjaeland. If you think Denmark is flat ... try us in the Netherlands.
I hope you enjoy/enjoyed your stay in Germany. You are right at the end of the video, though.
Charging is getting very expensive in general here. About twice as expensive as in Norway or Netherlands if I remember correctly.
It's because electricity is expensive, too. Households pay around 30 cents per kWh. And a charger is essentially treated like a household.
@@MikeDeeee We are at 40 Cent / kWh at the moment when looking at my Tibber App. The CO2 price is punching down at the already poor people. And the German govt and monopolies throw sticks at you if you want to go less- or off-grid (Finanzamt, Netzbetrieber, etc.)
@@AriesT1 Not sure what Tibber is, but in my place, it's 27 cent according to CHECK24 including the one off bonus.
nice to see you in Denmark, it could have been funny to meet you and wifey, maybe another time or maybe in Norway
Good stuff 👍
Its not a radar, it is a sail in fact.
That smirk from wifey after expensive shops.
Wow a place actually still using plastic straws.. Gotta go there and enjoy non-cardboard drinking straws. haha
And yes Nørre Alslev if the most borring SC in DK. They should move it closer to the high way exit and replace with V3
Only Tourists from SE and NO are using stud tires in DK ;)
0:40 probably all the German Tesla which where sold after half a year. Thanks to high taxes for new cars in Denmark, and subventions in Germany if you drive the car at least 6 month. A lot of people selling their 6 months old Tesla and get enough money to buy a brand new. Sometimes even more.
Regarding the ferry, it is a hybrid ferry with a rotor sail
I go through a fair amount of Faxe Kondi 0 myself - but are they selling Urge in Norway? I would crawl to the North Cape for a bottle of that shiiiiit....
Faxe Kondi only for real with actual sugar. Then it's great
Round chimney thing is a sail which reduces the consumption of fuel.
Faxe kondi is good, but a shame that the recipe was changed years back
Rødby-Puttgarten better option. Except on busiest days you wait 10 mins at Ferryterminal.
Apparently not. Another guy here took that route and got stuck in massive stau.
I believe Tesla are building another charger between Køge and the ferry to Germany.
9:00 That is not a chimney. I forgot how it is called by it is cylindrical "sail". It rotates and thanks to that it creates lower pressure on one side. That give a little bit of pull. It isn't much but helps to save 10-15% of fuel.
9:17
Road trip with Kona
Oh yes. Faxe Kondi is some good shieeeeet :-)
That spinning on the ferry is a windsail need to use energy to produce more energy back.
Sometimes i feel like your wife is not happy with u always filming XD
On that ferry you should use the buffet restaurant.
Buffet was closed.
3:07 guilty! lol xD
Bjørn du må kjøpe GoPro 10 med HyperSmooth 4.0 video-stabilisering. Mye risting i video fra bilen.
It will obviously not help.
Hope you guys got your jabs, things are A BIT crazy in Slovenia at the moment :D
Studded tires are not allowed in Denmark.
In the winter they are allowed (oct-april :-)
Yes you're right I see after checking again.
@@autohelper6650 Not allowed in Germany though so probably few people use them in Denmark as you wouldn't be allowed to drive to Germany.
@@MikeDeeee True. An no need for them in Denmark - what so ever :-)
Love you don't know weather your're going to Slovenia or Croatia :D
Lol, wait and see...
No studs, and nearly No need for Winther tyres 🤣
I like to plug in from behind too 😳
3:14 🤣🤣🤣
Some what tea?
Boba Tea / Bubble Tea
Studded tyres, is NOT allowed in Denmark..
Nørre Alslev SC is the worst SC in Denmark.
Slagelse was much worse. Capped at ~71kW for no apparent reason, even if just one Tesla present
@@GameOver556 huh. maybe a temporary thing then, just in time for my holiday

Does Wifey speak english?
Bjørn you speak thai too?
