Hello! Community Manager for Dead Matter here. We are very proud of this update! We hope that you are enjoying it for yourself! It's definitely a step in the the right direction!
It’s a better step than it been from the release, I’m assuming it’s a case of getting the foundations right and putting things back and new things in bit by bit. I’ve seen an improvement and hopefully this is the first step of many to get it into both the devs expectation as much as the players. Will be keeping eye on the progress as it goes along. I’m a fan of survival games and I’ve seen some things in this build that I quite like, I look pass bugs as such for now as it expected 👍🤓
I’ve backed this game since 2017. This is the best update I’ve played to date. Definitely still buggy, but it’s a solid foundation
@@shabazz717compared to its early access release when it dropped, it was very bad and far worse for sure. Hopefully they can from this and get to where they want to be with it.
You had your one chance to make a good first impression. The game is DOA.
What do you think? I think is a massive update, and this is how i should have been in the start....way better....but woooof..the zombies....are terrible still
I absolutely agree with you. Compared to its actual release. And from what I can tell so far. That this is just them sorting out the foundations of the game and admitting that this is just the start and plenty to still do. So if they can keep topping from this would be good. Weird the zombies don’t appear in my single player where as they do on the servers. Also game crashed a lot before I got to record the single player stuff. Then one crash when trying the online.

Yeah plenty of bugs still, but see some improvements. Can only hope on their continuation with what they’re doing. And hopefully they can turn around the mess that happened. A come back story will do them some good

Since you have good performance, I have a rx6700xt with r7 5800x 16gbram

Performance dropped in a hotfix which returned the zombies on single player. My setup is i7 (can’t remember the other numbers) and graphics card is an rtx 2060
Vein is in a better state than this and its free.. this is diabolical
I’ll have to look that one up. Although my personal favourite survival game is Scum which has some great updates coming soon.

I’m pretty much stuck with it. Although. I paid the smaller price at the time around the kickstarter day. I give chances, I’ve not backed many games in my time. And from the ones I had, this one been the roughest for sure. So I’ll check it from time to time. They just don’t wanna do a A Day Before and suddenly vanish into thin air lol
hi how big is this game for download?
Size of installation is 78.87gb. I would wait it out a lot longer for more future builds as in its early access it’s still rough, even though it’s better than its initial release. Unless you got a super computer and it can handle it then you might be fine, or though they do need to do more optimisations.
