When Sheryl Swoopes was a college coach, she mentally abused her players and after their season ended, 10 of 12 of them transferred to other schools. One of the players went on the news and talked about how she threatened their scholarships, so playing there felt more like survival than sport. That’s all you need to know about swoopes. LOL😂

Sheryl Swoopes has a history of mistreating players, that's why she got fired from being head coach of Loyola University. School newspapers were reporting that 10 of the team's players either transferred or wanted to be released from their scholarships, and she was fired later that season as a result of what the school investigation found.
It appears that what was inside of her then is inside of her now.

I love Nancy Lieberman and has been a fan since seeing her playing basketball as a teenager in Rucker Park our home New York City. Nancy is spot on in your Podcast as she is in my opinion one of the best basketball players of all time.
When Sheryl Swoopes was a college coach, she mentally abused her players and after their season ended, 10 of 12 of them transferred to other schools. One of the players went on the news and talked about how she threatened their scholarships, so playing there felt more like survival than sport.

Swoopes also underachieved in her WNBA career playing second fiddle to Cynthia Cooper during the comets 4 championships. Thats a major reason for her resentment of CC for doing what Swoopes failed too in being the top face of the league by living up to her pro expectations
