For people who are unable to drive or even travel at all, and/or who live in other parts of the world far distant from us here in the United States of America, your videos give them all the opportunity to see what our country looks like as seen from the driver's seat of a car - as well as to admire the huge effort that was put into designing and building our Interstate Highway System and see first-hand how it has so dramatically changed our lifestyles. Nice steady camerawork - thank you for posting this video. What we are seeing here is essentially what the daily lives of long-distance truck drivers look like: long monotonous hours spent day and night, in good weather and bad, seated behind the windshields of their eighteen-wheelers. Long-distance truck-driving is an intensive daily work-horse grind, a lonely THANKLESS task, often carried out FAR from home, family, loved ones and friends for days and even weeks at a time. It is neither an easy nor an enviable way to make a living - but SOMEONE has to do this essential work in order to keep our economy going and see to it that our goods are delivered on time.
There must be a way to make it appear to go slower. It seems like you’re driving way too fast and it gives me white line fever looking at the white lines. I watched other travel videos, so not sure how one correct that also your lane changes from the 1st Lane to the Third Lane then third lane to the 1st Lane and on and on our way too often also when coming up on a truck that is moving into a lane either move over or slow up a little bit in case they make a mistake
You can set the playback speed to 0.75x in the youtube controls, although with these new videos, slowing down the video messes up the audio. The current Full Length Interstates driving style is a Position Management approach proven to result in the lowest rate of close calls.
does it also take account of vehicles behind braking because unsure of your intentions, thus triggering a slowdown congestion event (that is, a traffic jam not caused by an accident or road works but by someone braking, slowing then speeding up, and chain reaction of same from everyone behind until a gap in traffic)@@FullLengthInterstates
I appreciate this. My wife can no longer travel. However, with these videos, I can travel virtually
