Simple..... Teslas don't need satellite/internet to operate in general. The neural network could have been compromised before the last OTA & all satellites/Internet went down. After that the vehicles can operate just fine or by compromised software.
Right after I watch this movie when I was in town I saw five ALL white Teslas driving around. It actually made me jump and have to look to see if there is drivers.

FYI, from a technology perspective, all of the Tesla self driving processing is done locally on the chip inside the vehicle, and the internet is just for updates. In a car like Waymo, however, there are remote drivers that can take over so the driving is networked and it would be possible with those hypothetically
The cars in the movie weren't driving by internet though. It was made clear that the internet and all wireless services were disabled. It's more likely that they would push an update to the firmware/software of all the cars on a dealership lot to drive them towards specific pre-programmed locations.

If you just watch a few scenes of this movie, you would think it’s an amazing movie because the premise of the movie is my favorite but don’t be fooled, this movie is absolute garbage. The ending is ridiculous.

I lived in Suffolk county, Long Island and Queens which is the same island and you wouldn’t drive long before seeing establishments, whatever they might be.
