Thanks so much for sharing these cleaning methods...I tried them on a vintage bag (10years old) that I bought and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! The only other thing that I added was to let my leather areas on my bag to sit in the sunlight for 30-40 mini. I love the results so much 😍😊❤
I have watched all three videos! I was holding breath as you applied the balm and the leather darkened. I use nothing on LV vachetta besides a damp cloth at times. Your bag looks beautiful though!
Looks great! Its just leather and plastic, not sure why people are so afraid to treat it. I much rather have conditioned leather than cracked. Things are meant to be used.
My bag is already the color of your finished results lol is it going to be chocolate after I apply the balm 🤦🏽♀️ I have to tho it’s sooo dry it’s ridiculous previous owner did not love on it 😅
Good job! Also it's absurd to expect that vachetta leather can pink and pale. It's UNTREATED leather, therefore it will absorb stains, watermarks, etc. It cannot be used and stay looking pale and pink. That just doesn't happen even if you don't use it, it will gradually darken. All the warnings are a bit of overkill but no doubt if you don't include them someone will cry about how their leather has changed. Fact: Unless you treat it, it will stain and crack. It's not a choice.
That's exactly what I used: Chamberlain’s Leather Milk Healing Balm. Amazon sells it, you can also buy it directly from the manufacture. I don't know if there is any dupe. Thanks.

I know, :( I'm only doing this to really really old leather now.
A trick: watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies lately.
@Alvaro Hendrix Yup, been using Flixzone} for since november myself :)

I totally agree!
I like the dark honey patina better anyway. I use bag balm after cleaning and conditioning.
Thanks for sharing, not many would admit that. haha.
I love that honey patina though! It looks soooooo good!!!!!!!
Me too.
AMAZING quality video and great info, thank you for making these!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Now I know why mine is so dark! I used too much conditioner. Do you know how to reverse the process and make it lighter like before?

Thank you so much sharing this. You're absolutely correct and I wish people understood this more.
What product do you use to water proof it?
Hi I used Apple Brand Garde.
I can't find Chamberlains Healing Balm anywhere to buy. The maker seems to now sell Milk only. Is there a substitute?
That's exactly what I used: Chamberlain’s Leather Milk Healing Balm. Amazon sells it, you can also buy it directly from the manufacture. I don't know if there is any dupe. Thanks.
I see that now. It was marked unavailable on Amazon before. Thank you!
I used the healing balm and I feel like the areas in which I applied are still sticky/tacky. Do you have any suggestions?
Get it a few days it should come not feel tacky anymore. Worse case, you can try cornstarch to absorb any of the stickyness.
I’ve found that collonil 1909 lotion heals and moisturises, but doesn’t darken the vachetta like that .
Is it free from alcohol and the nasties?
Sorry I asked a question that you had answered later on. I do not like darkening the patina.
It's ok, it's important to ask because it would be terrible if you didn't like the result.
Would you recommend this balm to even out water marks on the bottom of the noe?
Great question...I don't know if it removes water marks. Healing Balms are more for the texture of the leather.
So how’s your delightful pm holding up after you treated it with the conditioner? Please reply back and share your thoughts. Thank you!
I'll do an update soon. Thanks for the request.
Do you think you can use the 123 method on a lambskin Chanel bag?
I'm pretty sure you can wipe lambskin with distilled water, to clean it. But to treat or apply balm... I would not do it.
What product do you use to water proof the leather after conditioning?
😱 so brave
I know!
Do you mean that after applying this cream evenly, the va Hera leather will look darker altogether?
Yes, that's exactly what happened.
Will it fixed cracked, peeled handles?
Nope, once your leather is cracked or peeled it's hard to anything to fix it.
