Oh God I love The Housemaid lol Then I bought all of Freidas books! I agree they are popcorn thrillers, but so fun, easy to read and excellent for plane trips lol
I just want to say thank you, you have helped me stay on track for my reading goal. As a thriller lover I have enjoyed pretty much every one of your recommendations and might even start dabbling into the horror recs. You're doing great things and I am so grateful for your content and recommendations!
Omg your hair and outfit just SCREAMS spring! I love it! 😍 I always get so excited when you post, as soon as that notification pops up you bet I’m there! ❤
I remember reading Fear Street in high school. I'm not putting you down, they are written so well and seemingly better than what is written these days. If you would like a recommendation (you may have mentioned him) but I also read Christopher Pike in high school. Ghosts, vampires, and thrillers. Also, I recently read Freida McFadden "The Perfect Son". Have you read it? It fell flat for me and read so stereotypically domestic thriller. I predicted the twist so soon, it was so obvious.
Hey girl! I just finished Full Brutal. Never read an extreme horror book, but you have inspired me. What the heck did I just read?! I liked it…? Lol part of me is like “help me make it make sense!” The other part is like “what next?!” What a wild experience. Anywho, I think I may be a horror book fan now? Either way, I love your videos and I love your recommendations!
Hailey, I am planning on reading R.L. Stine's fear street too. I was feeling a little nostalgic too lol. I read a lot of fear street as a child and loved it. I have been wanting to reread some books from my childhood as well.
I sent you Full Brutal cause I wanted your opinion before I read it myself I'm so glad you loved it so much!! Will definitely be the next ebook I pick up!
Never lie was probably my favorite Freida book, then One by one. They were both good reads. Didn't much care for the housemaid, even more so now I know she ripped a book off. She just released Ward D and i actually enjoyed that one too.
I love your cute little butterfly clips! Frieda McFadden does have a creepy kid book if you are interested in checking it out 😉It's called The Perfect Son. I love Fear Street!!! I just bought Wrong Number 2 based on this video. I loved the first one. I am planning on reading Mothered and Baby Teeth next month for Mother's Day although I am now apprehensive about reading Mothered after not hearing great things about it.
@@haileyhughesi absolutely loved the perfect son! You should also try Freida McFadden the locked door & do not disturb or never lie. I love her books but I respect your opinion on her and understand if you don’t wanna read them tho
I was in a bad reading slump in march. I read Mukbang princess in feb so good I kind knew from the beginning where it was going but nonetheless i was grossed out and gave it 4 ⭐️ as well
Thanks to your earlier reading vlog of the housemaid, you prevented me from wasting my time on reading the housemaid as well as made me pick up one of the best domestic thrillers I've read in a long time, The Last Mrs. Parrish. I enjoyed it thoroughly & now it makes me even more pissed knowing that it was completely copied by someone.
Have you ever read any Stephen king books? I’m currently 40 pages into misery and it’s giving me chiiillllssss! To the point where I’m scared to go pick it up later!😂
I have Freidas book one by one I think it’s called. It has good ratings but I’m scared to read it after hearing all of this about her books. How did you read Mukbang Princess??!
I definitely felt let down by The Housemaid too. I basically hated it so much, I felt like I can't trust anyone that liked this book! I think I gave it a 1 star too.
I was going to read the housemaid and the last mrs. Parrish this month, but after seeing your reaction I’m no longer reading the housemaid 😂 I hate authors that do this, I’ve also seen so many people say the housemaid is an amazing thriller, which I’m assuming is because they didn’t read the last mrs. Parrish , I refuse to support authors that steal ideas and make money off of other author’s work
People will defend Frieda with “well there’s really no such thing as an original concept in thrillers” lol. But like cool, the concept being similar is one thing. But almost exact scenes? I’m sorry, no. It sucks because I’ve seen people accuse the other author of copying Frieda lol.
Somehow, I don't feel the Freida McFadden love here. I did like 'The Perfect Son' and 'The Housemaid'. I didn't like 'The Inmate' too much or 'The Locked Door'. Haven't read The Housemaid's Secret yet. I liked about half the books I read from her so far.
Full Brutal sounds intriguing! I loved Mindf*ck series and just started another female serial killer romance called Black Sheep by Alexa Harlowe and Brynne Weaver. I'm not too far in, but considering she kills a man in the first chapter so far so good haha.
Oh God I love The Housemaid lol Then I bought all of Freidas books! I agree they are popcorn thrillers, but so fun, easy to read and excellent for plane trips lol
Please read The Push by Ashley Audrain!! I’d love to know your thoughts on it.
This book was so good!
I think she has. I could be wrong but almost sure I read this based on her recommendation ❤❤❤
it was one of my favorites of 2021 🥳🥳

cheers to reading the superior book 🥰🥂 i’m so so glad you enjoyed it!!

I have Freidas book one by one I think it’s called. It has good ratings but I’m scared to read it after hearing all of this about her books. How did you read Mukbang Princess??!
i bought the e book online, i think it was 99 cents 🤩
I have two of her books 5 stars and two of them 3 stars… Never Lie being 5 and The Housemaid being 3. So maybe try Never Lie lol
I definitely felt let down by The Housemaid too. I basically hated it so much, I felt like I can't trust anyone that liked this book! I think I gave it a 1 star too.

It sucks because I’ve seen people accuse the other author of copying Frieda lol.
I love your book recs! I just started reading Brother by Ania Ahlborn per your praise of it!
YESSSS!! all time fave 🥹🥹 i hope you love it as much as i do
I didn’t love The Housemaid either! I thought I was the only one 😂
I liked Never Lie too so maybe we have similar Freida taste lol try The Inmate!
you’re not alone!! 🫶🏼 i’ve heard the inmate is similar to jar of hearts 👀
Not me being obsessed with fear street at the age 27 years old
me 🫣

Hello 😊😊😊hey 👋 ☺️ hello
hi!! 🫶🏼
You need to do a freida mcfadden video... all the alleged conspiracies. For entertainment purposes only 🙂🙂
i have one up now!!👀
John was murdered.
Besides the housemaid was dragging and boring 😢
