It's crazy for an AG position to be political, but Jen Jordan seems to have the average Georgian in mind -- she's not about letting companies get in her pocket. Chris Carr has time and time again shown us he's no longer there for the people of Georgia. He just wants to keep the status quo. Carr even said it himself: Jordan has actually sued big corporations on behalf of Georgians.
We have a man dead here in Augusta Ga, the 7 cops involved are still cops, the GBI handed the case over to DA JARED WILLIAMS and in Dec of 2022 he close the case. I have been having so many issues getting the body cam, dash command officer depositions. Kristen Settlemire has been Handling my complaint but the city Attorney here lied to her about the open records I am asking for. Have received a LOT of body cam from this agency, I have never had an issue, now I am having all kinds of issues. I hope your office does the right thing here.
This position should be non-partisan! In my opinion, anyone representing the people, ALL the people, in a state, shouldn't be aligned with any party. I love that we vote on the AG in Georgia, but the office should be candidates not aligned with a party -- a bit like most non-partisan primary ballots in May only have judges on them. Judges and other judicial system positions should be non-partisan.
