This song reminds me of a friend I had back in Year 4, her name was Jenna, we met each other because I spoke about Splatoon 2, she also had the game and she enjoyed it. We ended up becoming friends and she introduced me to her friends. We all had a lot of fun after school and in the holidays together playing the game. When we reached Year 6, one of my friends who I was introduced to named Apryl was leaving to go to a different school. I remember that day I cried in the toilets after school even though I had musical rehearsals at my school. Then later in the Year when it was our final day, we had all returned back to the school, I didn’t know what to do then. I got scared so I just left when I got picked up, I didn’t say goodbye I just left. I regret that and I wanted to say goodbye to Jenna but I can’t, we’ve spoken over Messages but I guess it’s kind of drained us of speaking when we got to go after and the last I spoke to her was last year in June. I plan to speak to her again on April 30th, which is my birthday, I want to see if she’s ok, she told me she had appointments every 2 weeks, and everytime I did see her, she seemed sad and depressed, which made me think it was therapy but I don’t know. I just hope to see her again, because I feel like my friend group know is just repeated of my last one with Jenna, but the opposite and every feels happier.

Hey random rant time! So do ever think about old friends, teachers, people you used to talk to, etc..? Then when you think about it you feel melancholy About it? Like you just wanna see them and catch up see how they've changed. You think you'd be good friends now or just that'd it'd be nice to have someone to talk to?You just miss them and want to see them so bad it hurts. Maybe hug them, tell them about your sufferings and short comings maybe, just maybe be able to feel vulnerable in a safe space? But thinking about that person and how you'll never be able to seem them, and if you can it won't be the same way you want it to be. They might be way different now, or think your a failure by just looking at your new self? Or that you might see them in the hall at school and wave and get excited! Walk or even run up to them and they are with a friend and they awkwardly say high and hurry off. Then you might here out of the corner of your ear their friend(s) who happens to be there say "who was that werido, and why are they so desperate for your attention?" Only to hear the person you want to see so badly, and your heart melts white happiness when you think about them say "Some old friend, don't worry we grew apart and i hardly know them, don't worry about it, it's not important..."

This song reminds me of a friend I had back in Year 4, her name was Jenna, we met each other because I spoke about Splatoon 2, she also had the game and she enjoyed it. We ended up becoming friends and she introduced me to her friends. We all had a lot of fun after school and in the holidays together playing the game. When we reached Year 6, one of my friends who I was introduced to named Apryl was leaving to go to a different school. I remember that day I cried in the toilets after school even though I had musical rehearsals at my school. Then later in the Year when it was our final day, we had all returned back to the school, I didn’t know what to do then. I got scared so I just left when I got picked up, I didn’t say goodbye I just left. I regret that and I wanted to say goodbye to Jenna but I can’t, we’ve spoken over Messages but I guess it’s kind of drained us of speaking when we got to go after and the last I spoke to her was last year in June. I plan to speak to her again on April 30th, which is my birthday, I want to see if she’s ok, she told me she had appointments every 2 weeks, and everytime I did see her, she seemed sad and depressed, which made me think it was therapy but I don’t know. I just hope to see her again, because I feel like my friend group know is just repeated of my last one with Jenna, but the opposite and every feels happier.

4 weeks ago in a school event, my chatted me and said she love me, she even came up to me to say it in person. I was stunned so i didnt respond when she was clearly sitting behind me
For half an hour i just kept silent because i was excited and shocked until i decided to text back.
She said that she only wanted to get this off her chest and she only wanted to be friends. So i was heartbroken and sat down just looking to her having fun with her ex (i was next to them) and i didn't realise i was lonely without her being around until this same date and i got reminded of her.
I don't know what to do, who to blame.

Its so heartbroking i really needed to move on but how i still can't understand her i thought i already moved on but i realised i'm only suppressing the feeling of missing her and everytime i listen to this song i let it out

confessions so i’m just a freshmen in high school and i’ve loved my girl best friend for a little and she knew it but she didn’t think of what type of love i saw a relationship with her but however she didn’t i’ve tried to move on and try and catch feelings for another girl but nobody just hits the same and i only see myself with her
Trust me you'll get over her with time. I hade feelings for a girl aswell and just as you discribed I only saw myself with her. When she said she was transferring schools I felt lost. I also never hade the courage to ask her out unlike you. So one day she just disappeared and after 4-6 months I have finally moved on and I'm starting to catch feelings for someone else.
What I am trying to say is that with time you'll get over her and find the right one. Just don't give up yet!
