I got the older 1025r with the H120 and 260 backhoe. For the first couple years I used my dirt bucket and have the backhoe for rear weight. It did a great job better than the 44” snowblower on a X324 I traded in for it. One year with a tax return I picked up a 60” snowpusher at the dealer. The snowpusher allowed me to push the snow faster than the dirt bucket and still cheaper than a snowblower.
I use my 1025r with bucket to plow my driveway, too, but mine is a LOT shorter than yours! Mostly, I use mine to move round bales for my sheep, though.
I know what you mean about the backhoe. I've dug out stumps half the size of the tractor, maybe a bit bigger. I'm in eastern ct and trading in my 1023e for a 3series. I have 3 inch steel rear wheel spacers that i have no use for now and they have about 100hrs on them and the tractor just hit 180hrs. They make a huge difference in stability and im selling them for $300. New is over $400 plus $75 for shipping. I did paint them jd green to prevent rust. I'm just north of Norwich, Ct. They are posted on craigslist.
Cool Video. You're an awesome neighbor, to do all that extra clearing for your neighbors. Very handy machine!
Thanks Fred! Happy to help
I really like that tractor....it seems to get a lot done.
It sure does! I always tell my wife that if something happened and we went broke I would give up my truck before I gave up my tractor!
If you push loader control all the way down it will be in float mode.
Yes I understand that, don’t prefer the float mode though. I like to apply my own pressure
A snow plow float would be great. loader it likes to jump around a lot sometimes front tires come up
artillian pallet forks next buy lol. I use mine more than my bucket.

Adding chains to your tires would help greatly
That’s something I’ve always wanted to do, I think I’m gonna get some
Nothing runs like a Deere
Agreed dad!
