I saw your video only a couple of hours after you posted it yesterday. I looked it up on Amazon after watching the video and it was on sale, I ordered it, and I received it TODAY. So yeah, good marketing on Fanttik's part to send you a unit for review. (I had never heard of them before.) I especially like how they designed it to hold all the bits and the driver. Very nice design. Really solid and well made. Hopefully the battery will last for a long time and not burn down the house when I charge it. Thanks for the review.

QUESTION to IMSAI Guy or anyone who knows. Without destroying the tool, is there any easy way to replace the battery once, and it will, FAIL. One of my pet peeves are items which do not allow the owner to replace an aged out battery!!

Absolutely. I hate having tools and they seal batteries so they can't be changed without damaging something. That's a must have or I skip it. But it's a cool little tool. The compactness makes it perfect for travel.

Thanks for reviewing this screwdriver. What I found most appealing was the packaging. I have one of these small battery-driven screwdrivers, but it is in a flat case, that is, all the bits are inserted into vertical holes. Further, the top is held on with four magnets.
Murphy's Law ensures that this box will be the one I accidently knock over, spilling the bits all over the place. The business end of the bits can be so small that without a magnifier I can't sort by appearance, and, as you remarked, the stamped identifiers on those suckers make it SO much fun to put all those miserable bits of metal back in the right spot.
The only thing I have that is more prone to being dropped is a compartmentalized box of small chokes. It has a poorly working lid ensuring that when I do drop it (not if), small, heat-shrink-wrapped components scatter as widely as possible. The chokes are totally unmarked and similar sized, so when I drop that box I end up using an LCR meter to sort about 150 components.
Maybe the real problem is that I'm clumsy and should be taking lessons in graceful movement? 😁

@@jeffclark2725, it was a different set from the one he had reviewed earlier, but, as you know, there're lots of sets of these on Amazon that look similar if not identical.

Thank you for your review. I've been wanting to get something like this. I followed your link and bought it. It was even on Labor Day sale!
Here is something odd: There is a small magnetizing square but the demagnetizing square is missing from the product. It's in the instructions but completely missing from the tool.
This is not a problem for me as I would most likely never have any need for demagnetizing. However, it's odd that the one they sent you does not match the one at the link. Also, it's odd that the product does not match it's own instructions. I wonder if they had a bad run.

Bought a Sainsmart ES121 a few years back. Love that screw driver for small precision work. The fact it has numerous torque settings and is motion controlled is why I purchased it. They are discontinued now. Not sure if you have one or have reviewed one.

Hey, nice screwdriver - thanks for the video, I just ordered one. Not sure if it will come, given my failed attempts at Aliexpress shopping. If it does, I'll do a teardown :)

Would be interesting if you were able to set the exact torque digitally, with custom presets and stuff like that.

Nice set, just for the longer bits in it, that will fit a lot of those recessed screws in modern equipment.

No more rechargable stuff. It turns it into a disposable screwdriver. They could have easily made it use AA or AAA batteries which I can charge myself or use alkaline when needed.

I forget the one you reviewed before, kaiweets? I got for 20-25 bucks and use it a lot. I like the flat book style because it stacks with heat shrink boxes etc. I've also used it a bunch for awhile and it's still fully charged. Seeing is this kit comes with the spudger and the tweezers It looks like everybody is competing with the same product just different casing. I like the feel of the non-cylindrical driver

That is a great case design. Wonder what fails first on those small power screwdrivers: the battery, motor, buttons, or charging port.

Surprised that post Labor Day at Amazon still on sale Tuesday $41.98 after 40% discount coupon. Wonder how they can do that. The bits looked interesting so I bought one but I'll be curious to check this price a week or two from now and see if the regular price is a marked-up gimmick.

So if it's just an 18650 battery, which is likely, I'd want to change the battery to at least 1000 ma, maybe 3000 ma. Much bigger capacity batteries out there the same size.
