@@lolo-xs9ni because the black order is so OP they could've whooped the avengers easily but for movie purposes they made them incredibly weak , and MCU would need to make a movie for people to understand the black order instead they used them as flash villains with little no information on them characters. Corvus dying easily and losing to OKOYE and being stabbed made me SUPER MAD at the directors and script writers. Corvus is literally of the deadliest of the black order and they made him look like a baby learning how to walk.

Corvus is physically very strong, even Cap cannot release Corvus' chokehold on his neck 4:12. If vision hadn't saved him, Cap would have suffocated to death, or even his neck snapped
@Dichang Feng yeah. I believe Corvus is the second youngest out of the black order besides cull obsidian, but he sure as hell isn’t young enough that his training would be affected by a few years
Also which Midnight's spear has a poison which doesn't kill hut effects different beings, turning Hulk back into Banner. When he was stabbed it had an affected to where he would could not move, making it seem as if he was dead
There was some nice symmetry in both reasons he died. He first stabbed Vision with a sneak attack, then Vision killed him with one. He was the only one of Thanos' forces to invade Wakanda's buildings and hurt Okoye's second in command, so Okoye, as chief of security, beat him straight up. And even did it using some spear to spear combat.
wanderlustwarrior okoye is a fucking human with a spear, proxima and glaive tag teamed and took the hulk down in under a minute in the comics, fuck okoye and fuck power scaling
Which is quite lazy and messes up the power levels completely . Okoye was a character who was being ragdolled by Killmonger and was easily being beaten by Proxima Midnight whom Corvus Glaive was superior to . Corvus Glaive was fast enough to dodge and even deflect missile fire from Falcon and blasts from Shuri and had beaten Cap and injured Vision . He also took down Asgardians .
When I first watched Endgame I didn't even realise it was Corvus who got killed in that scene, thought they wouldn't do him dirty being killed in such a pitiful way so I assumed it was another glaive-wielding maniac
Glaive didn't even see her coming. Just look at how easily he beat her in Infinity War. Plus she can't even defeat Kilmonger so how the hell would she beat Glaive?
Was thinking it might've been him being positioned closer to the camera giving the illusion he's tall but he's literally right next to Proxima and towering over her
At the end of the day I kinda feel sorry for these guys sure they’re evil but they were kidnapped and forced into evil just like nebula and that last bit of Corvus dusting away holding someone or someone holding Corvus really got me
Notice that Proxima tells Corvus to “get up” after he’s been stabbed just like Wanda tells Vision to “get up” after he’s been stabbed. Later the alternate Proxima is dusted while holding Corvus’ body, just as Wanda is dusted while holding Vision’s body.
Its honestly quite disappointing how nerfed and sidelined the Black Oder were in Endgame given how they were second only to Thanos in Infinity War and were such formidable threats on their own . For christ's sake , Okoye took down Corvus Glaive in Endgame and that guy fought against Cap and won and fought against an injured Vision and won . And then Cull Obsidian got stomped on and killed by Giant-Man even though he was beating and competing with the Hulkbuster armor , you know the armor which can go up against the physically strongest Avenger .
I can forgive them not giving Proxima much screen time because they couldn't get a hold of Carrie Coon to reprise the role but did they really have to ignore the rest of them that bad? Endgame's final battle is kinda meh as it's just two big armies going up against each other without much detail and the characters are just there, there's too much happening at the same time so there's no focus on the actual cool stuff. Giving the Black Order more screen time would have helped make the final battle more interesting as they could have been given cool fights against the characters that weren't in Infinity War or those they did not fight before.
Might be that with Stark's snap it removed all physical trace of Thanos and his army ever being in existence, but I do like the idea that Corvus is still alive since he was only stabbed in the shoulder by a regular human, and he managed to survive being stabbed centre mass
I believe that in Endgame, when Okoye stabs Corvus, he was only wounded, not killed, as at the snap of Tony's fingers, we can see him turn to dust. We can therefore consider that Corvus is immortal as in the comics, he can only be killed by Glaive itself.

The Infinity Stones work by wishing basically, and I'm pretty sure they could overpower his Glaive. We saw everyone's armor and stuff dust away. If the Glaive prevented him dying, the stones would remove it. Unfortunately, he dead.

In the comics they are married. In IW, they go on missions together. In Endgame, you can see Proxima holding the dying body of Corvus while she turns to dust. I think they are in the MCU

The only bad thing about avengers infinity war was that vision was showed very weak in it as vision was actually Jarvis and was the only hero that could survive the snap without even getting a scar

It’s understandable how he got killed by Okoye so easily in endgame. Okoye was already an avenger by that time and for five years she had been protecting Wakanda as a leader while T’challa and shuri were dead. Okoye already experienced how skilled the black order were so she was angry and got stronger throughout the blip.
still not understandable lol. corvus glaive in the comics was an absolute beast, and "the best general earth wouldve ever seen" bc of his centuries of battle experience. the movie just nerfed him hardcore, because they didnt have time for him. every single black order member alone wouldve been an a big enemy for the avengers if they didnt nerf them
I don't think that's excused, he had 100s of years of experience and in IW and took out 3 people with similar skills to Okoye and even overpowered Captain America
To be fair on why Corvus died so easily in endgame is because these are technically the same beings that cause havoc in Wakanda in infinity war, so of course Okoye isn't taking any chances since she know what these guys can do to prevent the snap from happening again.

To be fair on why Corvus died so easily in endgame is because these are technically the same beings that cause havoc in Wakanda in infinity war, so of course Okoye isn't taking any chances since she know what these guys can do to prevent the snap from happening again.
