The breakdowns of what you guys shoot is so well done. I always feel like they are so efficent in what is presented. Each video feels like a complete story with very little fat. Great job!
Funny how people say that this is a "lowbudget" production, with all of that stuff. Great gimballs, Arri and Red cameras man, cine lenses and all that stuff. I know that the comparisson is to big hollywood productions but man, this is not a lowbudget at all! Come to see what we do in Brazil with just one mirrorless camera and natural lightning 😂 Moreover, great video man thanks for sharing the process!
It's all relative. We had to pay for this project out of pocket, everything we got was from favours we asked of people we knew. Could we have done it with an fx3 and a small gimbal, sure, but there is a certain standard to uphold when people are coming on and spending time to help. Appreciate you watching, glad it was helpful!
Thanks for watching. A decent amount of the scenes we had were high dynamic scenes and we shot both Red and Alexa to test, and the red didn't look as good as we expected.
You are so great men, thanks for your knowledge and what a great work you did with the video… no words. Could you please tell me the app to prepare the locations with the camera and lenses? Thank you!
Almost everything was natural light. We occasionally had a tube for some night time scenes to kick out the talent, otherwise it was pretty much finding the right time of day to shoot.
Appreciate you watching. We were shooting straight into the sun a bunch, and prefer to have more dynamic range in post to shift colours etc. Through some testing, the red didn't look as clean even with the same lenses.
great work and wonderful breakdown! I am curious about the cinevised Rs on the alexa mini - did you have an EF mount on the camera? How was it? any wobble when changing focus direction etc? I have never considered using my Leica R on a 'real camera' before. Thank you D
We used an EF mount adapter. No wobbles, everything worked great. The Leica R's are cine modded specifically for this purpose. Makes using it a whole lot easier.
@@TenfoldProduction ah gotcha. I always get wobble on mine but I guess its because they are adapted to EF with a shim rather than having the R mount swapped out for EF. thanks.
I am beginning to think that 99% of the people watching the commercial couldn't tell the difference in video and video quality in those big camera rigs and expensive cameras vs something like even the Nikon Z9/8. I shoot real estate photography and no matter if I use HDR or flash in my photos, 90% of the agents have no clue and don't care either way.
Yeah, different use cases for different people. There are so many factors and nuances when it comes to picking cameras for a project. We don't really care too much about what camera we use as long as it serves us best for the project.

Appreciate you big time! Definitely want to do more of these, so we're glad you're enjoying it!
Could you please show us some examples of post-production like editing, color grading, and sound design of this commercial ?
Definitely something well dive into next! Thanks for the suggestion

Thanks Anthony. Really glad you enjoyed it, we're trying to get better and better at presenting our projects.

This is dope! i love small crew shoots.
Thanks Don! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work! Curious why you stated you wouldn't be able to do it right with your in house RED kit?
Thanks for watching. A decent amount of the scenes we had were high dynamic scenes and we shot both Red and Alexa to test, and the red didn't look as good as we expected.
very nice video, you guys put in a lot of work to make the video happen. I would love to see the final video.

Really great content. I shoot small doc style car films and would love to film the holy grail of a car commercial. Great stuff, thanks.

Im curious what was the lighting set up or was everything just natural light?
Almost everything was natural light. We occasionally had a tube for some night time scenes to kick out the talent, otherwise it was pretty much finding the right time of day to shoot.
@@TenfoldProduction Ok dope. Thank you
Must be hard to maintain your composure when you roll up to the lake and see the haze, I'd be freaking the hell out rushing to get shots!
I will say, we were very excited.. haha
well done @TenfoldProduction!
Thanks! Appreciate your support.
Great video (as usual) but if i may ask why would using the in-house Red kit be a limitation to the production?
Appreciate you watching. We were shooting straight into the sun a bunch, and prefer to have more dynamic range in post to shift colours etc. Through some testing, the red didn't look as clean even with the same lenses.
What is a typical rate for drone ops for these projects?
great work and wonderful breakdown!
