    Did you ever come out with the cleaner for the bottom of the Malibu? Just did mine by hand and could use some of that chemistry help!

    as the old saying goes "work smart, not hard"👍 my shoulders hurt watching you use that buffer while on the creeper due to a bad rotator cuff

    I clean aircraft, I use Detro Clean to remove the Lead exhaust streaks on the bottom, it also removes the paste that forms with dirt, exhaust and 5606 hydraulic fluid and oil leaks.

    Great video and incredible results! Just found your channel...do you have any recommendations for cleaning and removing scratches from aircraft Plexiglas? If so, do you cover this in one of your videos?

    • @AvianaAircraft
      @AvianaAircraft  5 лет назад +1

      I don't have any videos on the subject at the moment.. but that could change. On pressurized aircraft you need to be a bit more careful as you don't want to remove too much thickness. On non-pressurized aircraft you can machine polish with something like Meguiars M105 and M205 and a foam pad. Make sure to not wax with petroleum based products as that will affect the acrylic

    • @drrev2000

      The product is not new but its tried and true, find a technician to use Micro-Mesh plastic sanding kits, You start with heavy grades and work your way up to polishing compounds. If the scratching is too deep, window replacement is all you can do.

    Great work! You said your rinse is just water with some polymers. What are your thoughts on using distilled water or RO water to TDS spotting? I was thinking about it but a plumber friend mentioned the corrosiveness of RO water on copper fixtures. I'm guessing the chemist knows the quick answer? Thanks.

    • @AvianaAircraft
      @AvianaAircraft  4 года назад +1

      A great question, because RO water has no minerals whatsoever, it it is really eager to start dissolving stuff, such as water pipes. Normal water already having minerals dissolved, is not as corrosive because it has a lowered ability to dissolve additional solutes.
      That said, when you mix it with no rinse, you’re adding solutes to the RO water so it won’t be the same as pure RO.

      Nikos Perantinidis no, I suppose that could work. But would be worried about oxidation on aluminum

      Aviana Aircraft Detailing Have you come up with the new belly cleaner?

    • @ericduberman4758
      @ericduberman4758 5 лет назад

      I too will buy gobs of your belly cleaner once available. I currently use a fume free oven cleaner. Spray foam on, leave for 30 minutes then wipe off with paper towels. Wear eye protection and a surgical mask when you spray it on.

      @@abrahamnemani3907 The leather coating has been around for a while, but the manufacturer doesn't sell it direct to the public. There are auto detailers that use it as well though, let me see if I can find someone who carries it near you and maybe they can install it for you. Shoot me an email at mehrdadse@gmail.com

      @@thefireman285 303 is a great product, especially for protecting plastic trim in high UV areas, but for leather seats there are better options out there to protect against wear and staining
